saw then in Miami on this tour - Cozy Powell did one of the greatest drum solos I ever heard that night - any chance this concert is hosted somewhere?

i was wondering where i could find the original, un-dubbed video. i had this many, many years ago and it was stolen in a break in. yes, the constant zooming is irritating but it's all i've ever found of this kick-ass tour. also, has anyone ever seen the pro-shot? MTV was supposed to air it but it never happenned.
The Emerson, Lake, and Powell albums was one of the best Emerson and Lake recorded, together. It is better than anything they following Brain Salad Surgery and the triple live "Welcome back my friends...", in my opinion.
you are raight man, Emerson lake and powell is one of the best albums composed for Keith Emerson...better than "Black moon" and "In the hot seat" and "Love beach" inclusive...
Thank you. I went to see them in Cleveland, during the tour, and was absolutely blown away. Powell had some "big shoes to fill"(although his feet are probably bigger than Carl's), but he did a superb job doing ELP's music. I watched his drum solo, here on You Tube, and had no idea he was this talented, as I'm not into the metal thing. He didn't do a solo in Cleveland, so I didn't get to see what he could do. I prefer Carl, but Cozy did an outstanding job. I love this heavy, brassy ELP sound!
i saw them when they did this tour. powel did really good. i was fortunate to have them get back together and see palmer play it was awesome,, these guys are one of the very FEW creative bands that ever existed. took music to a whole new level. to bad its been lost for the past 20-30 yrs now
If you mean the EMERSON, LAKE & POWELL studio album, it's not the case that he took the original audio from the studio album and put it with the video, as there are some clear differences; If there is a live album of this particular live performance, then it's pretty good syncing...
Yes, the audio is from Lakeland Florida 1986. I just thougt it would be cool to see and hear this video in a little better quality, since it is te only one we have. Thanks go to the original filmer and the BAND for releasing this great concert in cd format.

ALTHOUGH AN EASY TUNE BY EMERSON STANDARDS, IT STILL TOOK 2 OF US TO PLAY THIS HALF DECENT. SOME THINGS ARE JUST BEST LEFT TO THE MASTER ;)

ELP lost money on this tour, you can read about it in the book, "Endless Enigma".

right on! ELPowell was their best studio effort since BSS, as a band playing together...the magic was there, but for only for a short time sadly...

The countinuous zooming in and out is absolutely irritating. But it's a good historic piece. Thanks for posting.
