Okay so this parts got me confused. If everything is destroyed doesnt this separate people who are playing plain old WoW with people who are playing WoW+cataclysm? I understand that players without an expansion cant go to the place, such as the new island released in the Lich King expansion, but how does this work with cataclysm? Wont that cause a major separation of players?

Remember Phasing Technology. Those who have completed quest lines will see zones differently I guess. I suppose some events will be happening b4 the launch, remember becoming a zombie and exploding in the AH to infect as many as possible :D?

As for seperation, if your 80 pushing to 85, will you want to hang out with lower lvl toons? Let them level up I say.

I never really played WoW, but exploding zombies caught my attention.

If some people see the zones different that could still cause problem. You cant have people who see the zone all in one peice walk over huge lava cracks as the person who completed the zone sees. (Zone is a general term for an area right? and not an instance?)

Anyways, this expansion might get me to really get into WoW.

I think the thing I'm most looking forward to is the migration back to the actual home cities. Sad sad days when I walk through Stormwind or Ironforge during peak hours and see like 5 or 10 lowbies running around.

I love the fact they are changing the Azeroth. What I don't like is that you don't feel progression in your character, rather than in the world around you these days. Still, Blizz said they are bringing old instances back, making current once more challenging, and making rated BG's. And underwater city will definitely be better than my already beloved Dalaran. Let's just hope they turn down the idea of Tauren Pallies and Troll Druids. I might even make a Dwarf Mage if they make it.
