@jethroboy14 i honestly believe this is the best j style bass on the market. I wouldn't change a thing about it. Sounds better than all the fender jazz basses ive played and better than all the esp, ibanez, and yamaha basses with single coil (j style) pickups.. Also, the action is on the low end, but it doesn't rattle. This makes for easy playing and hammer-on's..
I would like to replace the original electronica by a Aguilar OBP 3, but do not want to be wrong and then the volume is lower. anyone can give me some advice? thanks
@fevi314 not sure why you would replace the electronics.. the stock ones are great. But if you want to mess around, the obp3 is great too. I think it has a trim pot for output of the system so you can make it hotter or less powerful.
@WarwickBass94 according to what I read on the internet, there are cases that replace the electronics because they say the original rockbass is not as good as the aguilar obp3 and so improve the sound. sorry for the English, I am using the google translator, I hope you understand. thanks
