What a dumbass. It's not a ripoff, it's a modern adaptation. There IS a difference. They credit it as being based off of Jane Austen's novel and the title is "Bride and Prejudice." They even keep Darcy and Wickham's names! If they hadn't and had just claimed to have come up with the storyline and characters on their own and slapped a different title, THEN it could be considered a ripoff. Like Avatar is a ripoff of Fern Gully and Pocahontas :p

yeah we all know that it is a ripoff of Pride and Prejudice but it is awsome and hilarious. My favorite part of the movie is her sister doing the snake dance. And the part where they are singing on the beach and the choir appears out of nowhere
