To get rid of the black background, you could resave it as a .GIF. Thumbs this up so people can know.

if youre getting a black background, what i do is i right click it and click on propeties. after, i click on the media tab. then, there should be something that says alpha channel. hope it helped.. ;b

hey whenever i make a char with a little grin the background in sony vegas is black instead of transparent..plus the bg in paint.net it transparent so i dont get why it does that and there doesnt seem to be a solution

@holylight3 I had that same problem, but on a different video it showed me that you could go on BannedStory 3, make a "Picture layer" and browse for your transparent picture and put it on there. And on the "File" tab on the top left, click "Save Image". When the box pops up, there'll be a little option that says "What to save" and click the option bar next to it and you'll see your picture name pop up on there and save it :3 Atleast, thats what I do to get rid of that annoying black box >:O
