This is only a resistive touch screen, not capacitive. Windows Mobile 6.1 doesn't have support for capacitive touch screens yet. However it was announced that 6.5 now does support it with multi-touch and will be used on the new Zune HD.

meself .. I've seen worse, I think the fastest response I saw so far, even faster than iphone is the LG Versa, it makes you forget that the cpu needs to process that animation. On the other hand, it comes at the cost of web browsing which is not all that sadly, otherwise i would've probably gone for it.

I think that might have something to do with the accelerometer. IN this version of the ROM, they made the accelerometer more versatile out of the box. The TF3D was probably poling the accelerometer and was late on it.

it does have a landscape mode, but the problem is that the wallpaper doesn't adjust with the TF3D interface. Hopefully they'll have that fixed by the time it's released.

i'm not too sure. Outside of the main ui, apple's osx lacks ton of stuff. Ability to multitask, copy and paste, etc.

Some of the hybrid roms from xda works fine and hopefully android can pick up more steam and evolve more quickly

The problem with android is that google is very tightly partnered with Apple. That's why a lot of people are not very happy that multi-touch isn't available on Android, because Apple "asked" them to keep it off. Bribing the competition to keep hush, what a terrible way to "innovate".

Ok this phone is bound for sprint just like the diamond and pro. But the only bad thing about the sprint models is the botched design on the back, they should of just kept the diamond look on the back! Well im hoping that they keep the backs on this one cause i like this a lot! And this would be the perfect phone if it ran android and not lagg g gg ggg g g gy WM6.

Did I say every teen? No, there are some teens who know and care about the specs of phones, coumputers etc. However almost all the people I see with a iphone have no clue what ram, bluetooth and flash support are.

Tethering without 3rd party? Multi-task without jail break? Replace my battery when it dies? Sync music on other computers without be locked down to one computer? 100% customization of the phone without Jailbreak? If I don't like the texting application, I can simply replace it with something else that is better to my liking and make it my default app. Same goes with everything else on this phone. If I don't like TouchFlo, put something else there. Can you say the same about your iPhone?

People like different things. I like the iphone, I love the touch screen, its really responsive. Theres tons of apps and stuff you can do, and more "User friendly". Some people like the HTC Touch pro. Different opinions, Different likings.

with 3.0 you can, and actully im running 3.0 right now (im a apple dev) and it has all of those features you listed.

and 3.0 comes out for everyone real soon, and before apple was not ready to put them in because they wanted to get the bugs out of the iphone os first and wanted to keep it a clean user interface, before they add things like that, but now they are ready.

Ur so full of u know what man. apple fucked up with the iphone, but what made it sell is the look, and the PUBLICITY, it got so MUCH publicity (they even paid CNN to rediculize the zune and other mobils, it's just funny how stupid ppl r to believe them), I only saw apple for a few months when the iphone was out. Yeah it's OK to say that, it's better than pppl who say "iphone is the beeeest!!" It is good, in its way, it has a fan base because of the apple logo, and programs to keep u going, but not more. Other phones have so much more, but u still have to know which to choose. So I think it was also famous, because it was a safe bet: apple = quality. So in the end, I think the iphone is an overrated device, which became famous thx to a responsive screen, a good browser, teen oriented programs,and its UI.
