I TOTALLY understand what you're talking about and it really bugs me too! One time when I was in high school, I was walking around in my neighborhood and I was wearing my lettermen jacket. Then this random guy who I didn't even know tells me "That's not your jacket." To which I responded "um yeah it is." And then he just said "jeeeeze" and then he said "oh 09, you're a freshman." obviously he couldn't do math because I was a junior at this point and it was 2007, so yea.
