I'm in to Irish music. when I play clawhammer think always it's real good for Irish music, expecially Flings, hornpipes and some Rileanna too! dan

  • @DanDrochaid Hi Dan. Thanks for comments. I am Irish myself. Born and raised in County Tyrone and Irish music is my first love and grew up listening to reels & jigs etc. I have always had a fondness for Appalachian music and have no doubt it is heavily influenced by the music brought to the mountains by the Irish migrants.

  • solid!

  • I'm getting ready to buy my first banjo and you are a great inspiration. Thanks and keep making beautiful music.

  • 'Hypnotic' says it all.

  • Nice playing, and a lovely sound.

  • That's one of the sweetest sounding open backs I've ever heard. Beautiful playing. Thanks.

  • Your banjo has a great tone~ nicely played..

  • Many Thanks

  • Excellent.

  • nice work ,wish i had that kind of talent.

  • That's got a gorgeous sound to it. Well done.

  • I love the sound of your banjo...what kind is it?

  • Hi, Thanks for comment. It is a nice sounding instrument. It is a Deering 'Vega' Senator. Deering now make good quality instruments baring the famous Vega name. I sometimes put a bit of fabric inside the banjo to slightly muffle the sound...makes it more plunky and old-timey somehow.

  • enjoyed that, thanks

  • Dam it just gets better and better.
