The Trucksters are actually very cool looking in person. The Ltd. versions look like crap but the ESP versions are pretty sweet. I hated them from pictures but after actually seeing one in person and playing it I really like them now. The grey version IMO is much better looking in person than the black version. To bad they don't make the grey version anymore.

why hate on esp? the fact is they have made great instruments time and time again for countless artists.... so what if your not into metal.... im not a huge metal head either, but that doesnt need to reflect on a company. They are a prefference, they can play metal and hard rock w/ the best, that is what they are for. people stop hating on guitars just because, appreciate them for what they are. You dont like it, change pickups, or GTFO of a video your just going to bash. Titties

I've got 4 Explorers, 2 of which are ESP, one Ken Lawrence and one 76 Gibson. ESP guitars are just japanese Shite in my opinion, they use much less valuable wood and pickups which effects the sound quality and feel greatly. Gibson however are hand made Amercian guitars, Mahogony wood and the most amazing pickups, not to mention feel. I collect and play all my guitars anyway so im just stateing personal taste.

I have do disagree. I have 4 esp guitar's including an SV of roughly 2500 dollars. And in my opinion it's the best guitar that I have ever had in my hands. And yes, I had GIbsons in my hands as well, with a price well over 3000 dollars and to me they're just overpriced. They are great guitars nonetheless but I often find myself wondering if It's good value for money. All in all ESP makes great guitars and they're not shit.

@GuitarRocks23455 you obviously have very little knowledge about ESP guitars. There are a LOT of ESP's out there with duncan's for ex. Not to mention that I have my SV for crazy tremolo and solo stuff, my Eclipse for rock/metal and for quickly tuning from standard to drop, and my Stephen Carpenter for 7-string stuff. So basically I don't buy 4 esp guitar's to get different sounds, I buy them for different purposes. If I like the sound of EMG's the most, why ever buy a guitar with different pups?

Is it possible to replace the toggle switch by the volume & tone knobs back to a volume/tone knob (wich is used to be) and make the now in-active toggle switch active again? (Sorry i'm a little new on the technical side of guitars)

because esp isnt allowed to make his anymore. it was the exact same as a gibson explorer and they own the license to it. gibson doesnt care who makes copies, but as soon as that copy starts to sell they start to sue. thats why were stuck with the crappy esp ex (i think its called) that looks like an explorer but has pointy corners instead of round ones

LTD Truckster is the same as the ESP version cuz it haz the same stuff (Mahogany, EMGS) except its cheaper has some different things here and there

There is actually a big difference between the ESP Truckster and the Ltd. Truckster. Not only is the ESP version finished in the ESP Custom Shop but the ESP version is made with much higher quality woods, which makes a HUGE difference since wood quality is what makes a guitar IMO. The Ltd. version is a good guitar but is made with much cheaper woods and overall build quality. Don't let the specs of guitars fool you. Just because the specs look the same doesn't mean much.
