Great to hear that the underwater menace has turned up,as patrick troughton doctor is not well represented in the bbc archive, shame on you bbc if i can say that, and i've heard that airlock episode 3 of galaxy 4 is not on people's wishlist of favorite stories to turn up,but we should be glad that it has as it's no longer missing.
I would rather have the 106 missing episodes turn up rather than have the whole eccleston/tennant/smith fiasco that's on now,it's sad that people were not born to see these episodes.
@animationdude56 It's even more ironic that the reason why Power Of The Daleks was only screened in 3 countries is because Terry Nation (creator of the Daleks) placed an embargo on the sale of Dalek stories in 1966-67, thereby denying other countries to purchase it. Its the same reason why Tenth Planet was only shown to 3 countries. By the time the embargo was lifted either countries had moved on or dropped the series.
@RuffneckSoldier78 That's a shame. There are definitely more out there though and I think that has been proved with "day of Armageddon", " air lock" & "underwater menace ep 2". I agree about the film collectors!
Despite my depressing comment, Hong Kong told the BBC they didn't have missing episodes and then returned Tomb, Hong Kong have been less then co-operative so checking their archive would be difficult. Ice Warriors was sent to Germany as an audition for the show, this is currently being investigated. The BBC found a guy who videotaped Space Pirates 2 in 1969, which is similar to a fan who claimed to have seen Invasion 1 in the early 80's. Videorecordings from the late 60s? Maybe.
I hate to break this to you but the BBC have confirmed recently that Zambia, Uganda and Nigeria don't have any missing Patrick Troughton episodes, their archives have been recently checked. Gibraltar have been co-operative with the BBC for a number of years and don't have any episodes either. Unfortunately Troughton episodes were only sold to a few countries, and most of these countries were instructed to destroy the episodes or send them back to the UK. UK film collectors are the last hope.
Thanks to these videos, I'm really desperate to find a missing episode, whether it's from a good one, like The Tenth Planet, or from a terrible one like The Space Pirates.
But one problem though, 4 Episodes from "Faceless" are missing, not 2.

Isn't it ironic how two of the best Dalek stories ever produced have gone totally missing?

New Zealand was a destructive bastard of a country, wasn't it? See a DW episode, destroy it. :)
