Random protips: You can slightly adjust your mid-air momentum in any direction by kicking (press B button) while in the air. It's a good way to readjust your fall so you don't die.

Jeff, the way that the coin star works is that when you get all 100 coins, the star will appear above that coin and when you grab it, it will prompt a save and you may continue on your current star, unlike normal level stars. The "Mario Wings to the Sky" star came out when you hit the fifth coin inside the ring of coins in the air, the false star showed up here because that was your 8th red coin; I promise it wasn't a glitch.

Jeff, you got two stars in this video because you collected all the red coins while collecting 100 coins. The difference was the one star was grayed out because you already did that, but still fulfilled the requirements to get it to show up.

@secondpost its not a glitch you can get the 100 coin star and a normal star that's part of the level. you see if you collect any normal star of a level then it sends you back to the castle but you can get a 100 coin star without getting sent back to the castle. besides the star that popped up at the end was useless because he already got it. but if he had collected the blue star instead of the 100 coin star then it would send him to the castle again.

Part 5 was great. You could release special videos just for the coin collections (maybe even just 1-99 to allow for an epic 100th) so people who enjoy it could watch, and those who don't could skip it and not miss out on the core gameplay.

There was never a glitch, Jeff. In episode 5 you revealed two stars because you completed a star objective(getting the center coin from all the airborne rings of coins) and for getting 100 coins. This time it was a star for all 8 red coins and a star for 100 coins.

Why don't you just get the 100coin star when you are getting the red coin star? get all red coins and 100coins then grab the 100coin star and after that the red coin star.. so much easier to watch for us and you dont have to get all red coins twice.

@MaximusBlack Just in case, because you mentioned in one of your first vids that you didn't know when you could complete the mario wings to the sky star because you didn't know when you got those blocks unlocked? when your standing on the sun pedestal thing, notice that big ray of light that wasn't there before? well you have to do something there. It would've helped immensely with the coins in that first level.
