This video is good. Too many filters conflict each other so it always crashes. The quality is alot better now since the the filters aren't tampering the video's quality.

well you either are trying to import files that are not supported by wmm or you are missing the codecs needed to support those files.

try it with audio and pictures, if it works fine then it is something with your movie files.

You may have to go back into your filters and turn on the mpeg2 filter. or it may depend on which type of video you imported. you may need that filter to support that video type.

Just try and follow clicking on the same tabs as the video is to get to your filters section, then turn them all off.

Once I reinstalled as you suggested, I also did a cCleaner scan. This helped speed up my computer big time. Just found out about that! , but I needed to follow your reinstallation to keep Movie Maker from "Encountered problem . . . " over and over again.

Movie Maker is crap, so little features, most Movie Maker videos all look the same.

Use Final Cut Pro, Vegas, After Effects or Avid instead. I was just rendering in Vegas after adding 3D graphics from ProAnimator and particles from Particle Illusion and my shirt is still wet of all the drooling.

My problem was the video would just lock up and I'd have to restart WMM. I unchecked all filters and that made WMM crash! so I tried default and the lock ups were back. Then I tried only the filters that were in system32 folder and it fixed everything, Cheers

Ok, I think this is a better way to explain it:

When i am making a movie first i add the audio then some clips to it. If i

play from the beginning the audio is fine and right where it is supposed to

be, but if i pickup playing it from a clip in the middle of my movie it is

all wrong and doesn't match the clips or the audio section on the timeline.

I think it has something to do with the audio sync...

Hi!

I had the same audio issue. Here's the fix:Save the audio track as its own movie. Be sure to title it differently, so you'll know which is which. Then, in the "tasks" section, under 'import music or audio', go to your "my videos" folder(or whichever folder you send your saved MM videos to), then import it into the program.

Voila! You've got an audio track that'll be where you want it to be when you want it to be there.:)

I'm not sure why some ppl have and some ppl dont have the compatibility tab, but the version you should have if you are running XP is 2.1, Almost every program has a help option, under "help" you will see "about" that will tell you what version you have.

a lot of the time, now, when I run WWMv1 the video will lag behind all forms of audio (imported or part of the video). If I play the movie anywhere in the middle of the movie, the audio won't match up with the video. Is there any way to fix this?

If you created your project and it is ready to compile, it sounds like one of the files is missing or has been moved from its original location, you might have to start over or it may not be able to decode your avi files.

It could be that you are suing a sound file that is in compatible with wmm or you may need to adjust the volume on the sound file. It could also be the filters that are causing the problem.
