  • Here too same problem i was searching solution since 1 year

  • i do this

  • @7900jalen me2 why?

  • @l3etterlife idk but not near as bad as i used to

  • I do this. I usually dont realize i do it unless my friends point it out. ive done this since third grade and theres not really anything wrong with me. The doc said that it was just a simple motor tick.

  • I just looked up PANDAS. - My son was also treated for strep a few weeks ago (a few weeks before the eye-roll/blinking started). It took a week after going to the doctor's before we got the lab results and medicine to treat him for strep.

  • I'm glad you posted this. My 8-yr old son was recently diagnosed with high functioning autism. Last week he hit his head at daycare. A few days ago, I noticed the eye-roll/blink thing and asked him about it. He didn't know he was doing anything with his eyes and said they weren't bothering him. So, I thought he was just one of those temporary things... It's occurring so frequently now though. He never did this before he hit his head last week. It's scary.

  • wow my 8 year old son does the same thing with his eye. it just happened all of a sudden literally over night when he was 6 years old. just recently he was diagnosed with PANDAS. the eye thing comes and goes with stress or lack of sleep. i hope ur son is all better now! my son well he goes in and out like a wave of good and bad, but we have to stay strong and believe that everything will be alright! just spread the word about PANDAS and let parents be aware of the symptoms...take care!

  • It is a tic, I have the same one and I have tourette's syndrome. Please check out my video that shows my tics.

  • My son had the same exact thing and was diagnosed with PANDAS. Pandas network.org has some great info on this.

  • Its called torrets

  • OMG! finally, my daughter does this all the time, not out of "Attitude" (she does htat kind too lol) but this has been an argument in the family for a while now, some people thinking shes just attitudely-rolling her eyes out of habit, however, i notice she'll roll them straight up in her head and blink once or twice..even when shes not upset, not talking to anyone, watching tv, or just hanging around etc...and don't know how to go about getting it checked..any ideas? besides her reg pedi.

  • i have the same thing, i have had it for the past several years and its only gets worse when i get stressed or anxious but i found that doing breathing techincs and things that r relaxing helps to control them and alomst completly make them go away

  • My daughter has been doing this for a few months now, she is ten years old and is an honor roll student. She has had Mono but no other recent illnesses and the Mono has been clear for well over 8 months now. Did you find out what this eye rolling thing is? She does the exact same thing and says she can try to control it but if she does it is really uncomfortable. She looks as if she is rolling her eyes at people sometimes..

  • 19 now, I've got the same thing, but mine are weirder...like there's a muscle in the back of my eye I can flex and it puts pressure on them and I tic constantly with it. its fucking uncomfortable. also there's my throat does a weird movement as well (really hard to explain)

  • @ItzR3zR4pt0r I have the same thing. I'm 20. I also flex my neck sometimes and pop my ears too. I know how you feel lol.

  • Yep, that is tic, though sometimes that can be an obsessive compulsive type thing. Guanfacine is used for these types of tics. ANd, it's not as aversive as anti-convulsants. Ask your doc about it. My 15 yr. old son does this.

  • my little girl does this two times worse than this little one. This is still a shock as my baby was just diagnosed with chiari this week

  • anyone have any answers??? I'm now 40 and have had this since I was in high school, along with some other facial grimacing...never been tested, where do I go & what do you recommend?

  • Chowder!

  • I do that eye rolling thing when I blink! I have no idea why, it just does that naturally.

  • I have the same thing except the rolling part. I started blinking my eyes like that about 2 years ago. it gets really annoying but I can't stop. when ever I try to stop it just makes my eyes hurt, and then I have to blink my eyes hard.

  • Was it a random tic or part of Tourette Syndrome?

  • Hi, I came across your video and noticed my nephew does the same thing. I hope everything's alright with your son. I am concerned about my nephew and any advices you might have would greatly be appreciated. Does he still hard blinks his eyes?

  • My 7 yo son does this exact same thing. No head injuries and has been doing it for over a year now. If you find any reason please post, I found your video when looking online for a reason why he does this.

  • @lmlong57 These tics; eye rolling and excessive blinking can be symptoms of Tourette's Syndrome.

  • I just saw the neuro today, he is also pretty sure it is just a tic, but has scheduled tests to be sure.

  • @kieoh000 any results of the test? because my nephew does the Exact same thing

  • My six year old daughter has practically the identical eye movements. They began out of the blue when she was four. We put her through all sorts of testing: CAT scans, MRI, EEG, etc... Everything is 100% normal. We believe it is a tic. It became less frequent over a period of months and we rarely noticed it at all by five and a half. Recently, we observed it picking back up again. It happens more often when she's tired or stressed.
