  • People believe what they CHOOSE to believe. The bible is full of discrepancies but people just shrug their shoulders at those bits. The bible is a story--just like Jack and the Beanstalk is a story.

  • It was the "unified christians" that created the trinity.

  • We all know the protestants didn't create the trinity.

  • There's actually a term for this kind of hypocritical Christian behavior: "Cafeteria Christianity", a derogatory term used by some Christians, and others, to accuse other Christian individuals or denominations of selecting which Christian doctrines they will follow, and which they will not.

  • I hate religion !!! and the bible!!!

  • Gods not real, end of.

  • lol, owned.

  • In these days we dont put them to death. But it makes a point these are totally sins. Punishiable for the current times. These people are retards they interviewed and the hosts are crap.

  • is it cool if i think the lord of the rings is historically correct?

  • So easy to intellectually corner them, and yet they've managed to plug their ears for so long.

  • Trying to make people kill your relative is the real sin. Even if it was a joke.

  • That was taken out of context in Matthew. You can't get the essence of Moby Dick by just picking and choosing sentences just like you can't get the essence of the Bible by picking and choosing verses. Read the entire New Testament. There you will notice that much of the Old Testament has been nullified by the return of Christ. (Christ died for our sins, so we no longer have to follow the old law to know God.) You get that in the rest of Matthew 15, but see John 8 where he addresses that clearly.

  • What about Matthew 15:17?

  • What about it?

  • I don't want to see your shit bible anymore!

keep your god to yourself, shove your god up your asshole, your prick!

  • Look up Cult of Dusty on YouTube.

This Wretched Blasphemer is causing great pain for us Christians.

I am actually thinking of reading the Bible from cover to cover now. I have left that up to my pastor because reading the Bible is so hard for me, I am so ashamed to admit that. But this jerk Dusty use to be a Christian for 30 years and is now a vile enemy of God.

Satan must be some sort of clever evil to have made him loose his way?

Help me fight this evil will you donignacio2000?

  • Right, let's also get Santa and the Easter bunny to help us fight the evil that is rational thought. It will be the most splendiferous imaginary battle ever! That'll teach those damned atheists just how wrong it is to be able to tell the difference between fantasy and reality.

Oh yeah! They sure as hell will believe in Santa while he's bludgening them to death with his big fat sack of coal, and the easter bunny has he machine-gun farts cocoa-puff turds at them! Let the imaginary battle begin!

  • Nice try. Please elaborate. How can saying you should put children to death (for any reason whatsoever) be taken out of context? Does it say "just kidding" somewhere after that? No. You are just making excuses for yourself because you want to continue believing in the ridiculous. The ridiculous being the notion that it was ever OK for any god worth anything at all to ever have condoned such a thing. The idea that god sent his son for us to murder in order for him to forgive us is even more dumb.

  • There's no point in responding with more than one post since meiwechner will just delete them. However, I still want to respond.

You are greatly simplifying things. Similarly, I would be doing Moby Dick a disservice by saying it's "About some dumb captain who risks the lives of his crew for a revenge fantasy." In a way, that's correct, but it doesn't reflect deeper meaning of the source material.

So I would urge you to do some studying for yourself. It all will make sense to you in the end.

  • I was an extremely faithful Christian for 30 years and have read and studied the Bible. I don't believe it anymore though, precisely because I took it very seriously and studied it very closely. I have found it to be irreconcilable with actual reality. It was not easy to let it go at first, but now I realize how truly amazing life really is without any gods and I no longer need religion to make me happy. Thank you for your concern however. Peace.

  • @donignacio2000 so your all knowing & omnipotent god couldn't think of a better way to nullify peoples sin other than to send himself to earth in the figure of jesus and have him tortured to pleasse himself. What the fuck?

If you can read the bible and completely black out ALL the immoral bad shit in it..you are fucking mentally ill

  • @avz2r It was a symbolic gesture. Jesus was tortured the way people who live on Earth are tortured.

  • @donignacio2000 yeah but like he said the bible doesn't take about abortion but all the fucking chirstian hate that for some reason. u can't pick and choose, if you do your word really dosen't mean much more than a soapbox speaker or a politician. u can't defend this... your religion is false, and it is destroying the world.

  • @jonorancid Some people see abortion as the murder of a human being. Murder is of course forbidden in the Bible. You don't have to be a genius to make that connection. ...It's interesting you think that Christianity is destroying the world since it was responsible for bringing order and culture to it.

  • @donignacio2000 actually since its conception its been hindering progress. and destroying civil reason, the christian fanatics, were going to tear the roman empire apart if the emperor Constantine didn't convert from pagan to Christianity. civilization was created almost 2000 years before Christ died. we have a natural instinct to work together for the greater benefit of us all. we don;t need religion not too kill each other. actually its probably causing chaos than helping it.

  • @jonorancid You say that there is a natural instinct for people to work together, and yet you refuse to acknowledge that people did that under Christianity... except only when it comes to people working together to conspire to tear the world apart. You can't have it both ways. ...What if Constantine didn't convert? You'd just be moaning about some other religion right now. With all that said, I don't see the great Renaissance period happening at all without Christian principles to guide it.

  • @donignacio2000 the renaissance was the break away from Christianity don't u know about the dark ages! and the crusades and the inquision. those caused 100 millions of deaths in a name of a false god... all to do what????

  • @jonorancid Notice I said Christian "principles." I don't necessarily think that the Catholic church itself in the Medieval ages followed them quite to the letter. That's why the whole Martin Luther incident happened. When the printing press was invented, people were left to interpret the principles for themselves.

  • @jonorancid Not everyone and everything was perfect, but it was Christian principles that guided the transition. The printing press, as you might remember from history, allowed everyone to own copies of the Bible. Instead of relying on priests for interpretation, people were given the ability to read and interpret the text for themselves. Hence enlightenment. Hence reformation. I also don't need to mention that most of the great art and music of the time was commissioned by the church.

  • @jonorancid Lastly, through the Medieval ages, the church was responsible for funding and commissioning most scientific research. It's true. Look it up. If it wasn't for the Christian church, Western science wouldn't have been as advanced as it was by the time of the explosion of the Renaissance. ...So, what you're basically doing is picking and choosing at damaging things the church has done and ignoring all the beneficial things it has done. Thus, your arguments don't hold water.

  • @donignacio2000

By saying "we no longer have to follow the old law" you're also nullifying the 10 commandements set in the old testament, which, is still preached and obeyed by mainstream Christianity. Religion is no longer necessary in society. GTFO, picking and choosing, you're picking and choosing "Mathew 15" and "John 8" to address your case, so why can't we use ours to show how ridiculous the scripture of religion is. Now grow up, the boogey man is not under your bed.

  • @cliffbattlenet That's absolutely not true. Jesus not only preached the 10 Commandments, but he added to them. Indeed, Christianity is tough, and it's not for the weak-of-mind or weak-of-will. Understanding scripture takes years of dedication and deep reflection; it is not the same thing as reading a Stephen King novel.

  • @donignacio2000 jesus said some bad stuff ....Be thankful society has move on and we no longer us the bible for a sence of right or wrong!

  • @donignacio2000 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Matthew 5:18

  • @donignacio2000 Cherry pick from your book of bullshit all you want.

  • @donignacio2000 I agree. However I believe the word you are searching for in regards to Jesus and the law is fulfilled. He completed the law. Not only that, Jesus serves as an eternal payment for the sins of mankind, should we accept Him. That covers all of our past, present, and future sins.

But the reason is not just His eternal fulfillment of the law, but He gave us a greater command, in that we should love our neighbor, even enemies. Besides Loving God, nothing is higher.

  • Really funny.

  • brilliant indeed!

  • how can you tell? is there an asterisk?

    brilliant!
