I think it is way cool that to hear Satch in a regular band setting. The musicianship and playing on the album is excellent. Having Chad, Mike and Joe makes for a great band. But I gotta say the songs just seem so contrived. While Sammy has done some good stuff in the past, his sense of melody is really limited and his lyrics are just plain terrible. That said, I hope they are together long enough to put out a second record to see if it gets better. Satch is GOD!

This is a very odd combination. 2 Van Halen rejects and the nerd boy genius guitar player alien with Will Farrel err Chad on drums. The problem is who cares? None of these guys are writers...Satch writes instrumental music, Sammy is well Sammy love him or hate him he's not much of a song writer and Mike sings nice back ups...but...anyway...will see how it sounds...can't imagine why the did this except Satch wants to play with the cool kids and Sammy thinks he's too old...

The three songs currently released where pretty good. The song "Down the Drain" could have been better, maybe shortening up some of the parts would have been nice, but still good songs!

TBO besides steve vai im not really sure who was in daves band(s) but none of them measured up to eddie.i really dont care about the solo crap either way unless eddie plans to do a solo album.

Dave replaced Eddie with Steve Vai. Sammy replaces Eddie with Joe Satriani. When you are the frontman of VH and get the boot, to get even, go and put together a better band with a guitar god who is better than Eddie. And bring Mikey with you. In your face, mean-ass Van Halen bros. Ive heard the two Chickenfoot cuts and can see already these guys are gonna make everyone say, Van Halen who?
