Must say, this LP is actually pretty helpful in my opinion. I always left the prices at default until recently, which explains why I kept running out of money. :P Then again, I did actually manage to complete the original set of scenarios a while back. :)

I used to play this game several hours a day as a kid, so many good times, I was really bad at this game though so every time I unlocked a new scenario it was like I just got a gold medal at the olympics.

And what you said about the steel coaster being the best, is not true, the steel twister coaster is actually the best, but before corkscrew follies, you're correct. Oh and reverse inclined launch is like, uh De Ja Vue in RCT2 .

Great first part! My first part of this game sucked cuz that was when I had my bad mic. By a got a new mic around part 15 so the newer parts are a lot better.

just one question. how do u run this on win7 w/o it freezing up u'r entire system? tried with windows xp mode (using virtual box but u cant run it in fullscreen so it's unplayable cause of resolution issues). and various compatibility stuff but doest work. help :)

@mihaiintunecatul Well.. I have it on two comps. One is win 7 the other is vista and both have no trouble playing it. When I am recording on vista I do so in windowed mode which makes the game very hard to read in a high resolution so I just set my screen resolution really low when I'm playing it. So I would try doing that if I was you. just set the resolution to like 800 by 600 or whatever the lowest one is.

hmm how to make it windowed mode? i put -w,-win,-windowed at the target in shortcut properties, even tried alt+enter but doesnt work.

@mihaiintunecatul The only way I know how to run it in windowed mode is through the program itself. Once you open it up just go to the settings and there is a dropdown tab for the resolution. You should try just searching google if you have other problems.

yes, i managed to run it enough to change the setting before it froze my pc. after restarting and starting it again it went windowed mode and it doesn't freeze my pc anymore if it's running like this. i changed the resolution as you said and now it looks and works great. thanks for all the help! also gj on the lp, watched all the episodes so far. i vote for the next lp to be the fallout 1 one since i never finished it eighter :P

if you dont like changing prices of rides you can make the entry fee 50$ and make all rides free with food at regular prices thats what I do most of the time it a little hard to get guests in the beggining but soon you'll see guests pouring in to your park as long as you keep on building (also people say adverts are cheating well if you do this and advert they REALLY are lol)

@iendedyoui I actually like changing the prices of the ride to the excitement value. It actually saves time later as guests don't comment nearly as much as they do when you have a park entrance fee. On top of that your flow of money is a little more steady then with entrance fees in my opinion. I've played both ways and people seem to leave with less money more often the way I play. Anywaaays sorry to go on and on but thanks for the comment! Encoding the next batch of videos and will post soon.

@Phlip45 well i never have people complain about park entry fee past the first few months and if they do..oh well? if its rides they complain about they wont go on them and will get bored alot easier and leave unless you lower the price and yes money flow is more steady but i like getting cash all at once and blowing it away (thats how I spend money IRL to :D)

I must say, this is a lot better than my part 1, I'll say that much. Good job explaining the main game mechanics and managing the audio levels.
