En pleine éclosion du Progressif, y a ce bon sang de rock gang couillu de 4 musicos qu'a sorti ça en 1971, just after la mort des illusions du paradis zippie. Un pavé dans la mare tranquille des paradifficiles alambiqués..
I have had this on a blank cassette for over 15 years. I had no idea who it was or what any of it was called. Nor do i really know where the tape came from. All i knew was it was a great tape. Gotta love the modern internet to be able to figure out all this stuff. Today was the day. I would say it sounds like dr hook on acid but dr hook sounds like dr hook on acid already. Thanks for the post it helped!!
These guys were way ahead of their time. I bought this album at a record store in Canda where I was living at the time, and I'm probably the only person who bought a copy. The only reason I picked it up was because I used to work for the music publisher/production company who picked these guys up - the same company who also published/produced The Who and King Crimson - so I knew it had to be something really different, and for the time it certainly was.
How the hell these fellers didn't become enormous is beyond me.
Too "English", too working class lefties (NOT politically correct, those middle class corrupt self serving bastards - they are NOT representative but the ENEMIES of the British people)
Would love this track and never been able to find it as an mp3.
tried to buy it on Amazon, and other places without success.
@PhilK1231 I`ve got it.a two album comp on one disc, could of bought just one album but thought fuck it i won`t find anywhere to buy the second,Unfortunately the shop i bought it from has closed(bought it online) but this is a gem of all gems, first real garage punk band EVER.
I saw this band at the Oz Police Ball in Covent Garden early in 1971. They were fantastic and stole the show. People were shouting, 'Who are you? Who are you?' The singer stood there, cool as you like, drinking milk from a bottle.
I saw these once playing support band at a tiny club called the Farx in Potters Bar (England), must have been about 71 or early 72. Don't remember much except I though they were good and they were pretty much unlike most other bands on the 'hippy-music' circuit at the time.
why, why, why are this band not legends like th Stooges or MC5??? their infinitely better than MC5 ..... what happened to these two guys? are they still around?
