I can't argue with both comments, this war maybe longer then i thought. there are only a few hundred thousand Marines in the Marine core, and we're losing dozens of them, if this keeps up the British and the French are gonna have to deploy more troops just to help us out, and i don't think they'll like that.....
Actually the senators must be really courageous to urge soldiers to fight on, while they are cutting spending for VA and denying treatment for PTSD and other injuries. It doesn't help that the American public is under educated and over opinionated, chalk full of propaganda.
@drgoodvibesxxx Thats true, and I'll give you another quote that fits.
Nations have recently been led to borrow billions for war; no nation has ever borrowed largely for education. Probably, no nation is rich enough to pay for both war and civilization. We must make our choice; we cannot have both. ~Abraham Flexner
It doesn't require any particular bravery to stand on the floor of the Senate and urge our boys in Vietnam to fight harder, and if this war mushrooms into a major conflict and a hundred thousand young Americans are killed, it won't be U.S. Senators who die. It will be American soldiers who are too young to qualify for the Senate. ~George McGovern

Enemy propaganda. It's high time journalists faced prosecution for their crimes.
