wii is a dumbass company for calling it Fencing. Fencing is a poking game without slashing action.

Actually, fencing includes the saber, which does has slashing action as you call it. You're right about THIS not being fencing though..

If you look at the game, you'll notice the swords looking like the Foil swords. In that case, there's no cutting actions there.
