Very nicely played, but shouldn't the bass be more staccato? Atleast Joe Hisaishi played with more staccato, and it sounded better :p

That's true, it should be. Although when I play this I also have a problem keeping the bassline staccato in the right places while concentrating on the melody ^^'

Great job though! This sounds really great :) Frankly, I prefer the piano version to the orchestral one.

ve not heard the term "decelerate", I think it is more common to say retardando^^

It is very very important to keep the rhythm right, at the beginning, you can hear you have the first note too long, and then three quicker notes. It is really minor minor details, but yet important^^
