^ as brian said, you want ot make sure you mill and magnaflux your heads on your 6.0 if you have headgasket issues and are installing studs.

arp studs are fine for moderate horsepoer anything up to say 600 650 maybe more, and if you plan on being in 700+ i would look into h-11 studs due to the higher tensil strength.

run an sct and get some custom tunes, you will notice a huge differecne in the banks.

well the second set of heads that i got i were takin to a machine shop and milled to 0 thousands flat.. dont ask why but some ford engineer thought it was wise to not have factory heads perfectly flat. but after that its not puking anymore even with injectors. but yea it is definite mod your going to have to make if you are looking to make big power. the green king ranch in the vid is my rig btw.

im lookin at a 06 6.0 it already has the banks 6 gun, volant intake and silverline duals. my question is, is it possible to stack a sct on top of the 6 gun?

i would have to get a gasket kit and stronger studs right?

if u get an sct custom tuned you wont need the 6gun. you do want studs, some arp or elite h-11s.

there you cant stack two chips... the only way edge can do it is because most people run an attitude which is an inline box not a programmer. and with the sct's complete customizable tunes you can do the same if not more then stacking boxes. and yess just with a programmer you will run the risk of blowin head gaskets. i have got two sets of gaskets and heads under my belt :D

wow thx for the info. it realy helpin me understand. now since you have 2 gasket sets and heads on have you had any problems? its a possitive add-on correct? i have never heard of that. sry im learnin bout the 6.0L i own a 7.3L and never realy focused on the 6.0
