There might be something wrong with your cdj 200, it does work without being connected to your dj set up. You should just have to plug it in to a receptical and it should light up and turn on

when you switch between the time in the cdj display or the other way (which you didn't explain :P) is it actually the amount of bars that the song has gone for?

numark mixers are not that bad...but take it from me...the crossfader becomes bad after a while, too staticy and ur lines interfere...but hope everyhting goes good wit ur equipment

There great for mixing tracks it has a bunch of effects, on the fly looping, bpm counter and more cool features. It does not have vinyle mode and i don't think its compatible with dj software such as Serato and VDJ

Yes they are good for a beginner but as you get better i would go with pioneer cdj models 400 on up or the Denon cdjs 5500 3500 or 3700. If your very serious about being a dj equitment can get expensive and there much more to a dj than just playing songs, I am a working dj and there alot of things that you learn working on the job that nobody can teach you!! I love it though and will never give it up!!!

Correct, the cdj 200 are not usb compatiable, they might be able to be used with serato scratch but im not sure since they don't have vinyle mode

Thats actually a cheap set up, The dj set up you see at the clubs are basically 2 pioneer cdj1000's and a pioneer djm 800 just right there 5000 dollars, most dj's now are using lap tops and most of them are mac book pro which range from 1500 to 5000 dollars, then the software they use to play the music like serato scratch live is about 580 dollars. At the end of the day you would be paying 8000 to 10000 dollars

hey...autocue does what it says it auto sets cue on the first beat of the song...so if you have autocue on and go to next track it is set to the first beat...
