We didn't see if those were FMJ, steel or frangible 7x62x39mm. No matter what you say... it's up in the air. 90 rounds or steel jacketed rounds would of demolished that window... the sheer blunt force over and over will penetrate that window and maybe soft angles. This was a baby test in war you get hit with 2,000 from all sides.

From first shot you are out of the effective range of an AK before any reloads are even possible, not siting. This is a recon type vehicle not a front line fighter. That is really incredible. Nice work. My only advice on the 6.0L is to use head studs and possibly an egr delete. Not the bad engine that everyone who has never owned one says they are, just some inherent weaknesses that need addressing. I put 190k miles on mine with a programmer under load the majority of time, I just had studs put in and dealt with the EGR. Where is Indigen located?

Notice they didn't shoot the doors or any other body panel? And they used a popular, yet not particularly powerful round. .338 Lapua would probably blow the glass inside the vehicle with the first round.

@DVG793 I really wish you just unloaded on it. I mean set up some ambush points on the road ya know. I mean its gonna have to take a lot of hits from multiple angles from a very determined enemy. It usually starts with an IED blast and then an ambush with AK47s (7.62x39), RPKs (7.62x54 AP ammo), and RPGs. Would it be possible to install reactive tile armor inside the door panel? There are roadside shaped charge munitions that cut right through armor plate.

@drgnracin72 When in a city its very difficult to escape an ambush. Hell even in afghanistan its too rought to move very fast. It can take an hour to travel 5 miles just because of the terrain. And when fired on you don't get a few pop shots. They unload 10-15 aks and heavy machine guns and RPGs. Thats after the first IED blast and then there is a 2nd IED about 50 meters down the road.

I've been ambushed plenty of times throughout Iraq and I can say that 95% of the time your vehicles are hit with sporadic fire and few rounds make contact with the vehicle. You're driving fast and taking evasive maneuvers making you a difficult target to engage. It also helps they are not the best marksmen!
