What I used to do with the scissor lifts, especially those kind which were ment for slab and nothing else is to....
attach trailer to truck, lower the jack to make contact with the ground and start lifting the jack (remember to keep it attached with the trailer)
this raises the front of the trailer and lowers the back , decreasing the angle between the floor and trailer ramp for just a bit just so the electric scissor lift doesn work so hard....

haha what do you expect tryin to drive up some wet treated lumber for ramps? Also should've put something small infront of the boards for the rear wheels to go up easier
Thats' one awesome machine! Rented out one of these just the other day and WOW!! Makes life a lot easier not having to swing out of a ladder lol!!!!!!
