How bad does he shed?

@jolseen ya well they shed their "under" coat during the the summer time u live in florida so they might never get their winter coat but make sure if u get one that their mostly indoors cause they over heat really fast its probably not the best dog to get because of where u live but if u do just be careful good luck " )

@arniebarb123 yes I plan keeping my akita inside, I hear they are very clean and easy to housebreak.

@jolseen its true that they are very clean but they are extremely stubborn so they are very difficult to train mine was house broken at 4 months old but it was by no means easy lol its a lot of work they are very smart so thats why they are stubborn ...i recommend that u lay down the law with them early but be fair they can resent u if ur to stern..give them a lot of love and socialize them and ull have a great dog...most of them are terrible off leash so watch out for that

@jolseen i recommend crate training because it makes it easier to house break them theres a lot to kno as far has training like how to acclimate them to the cage but most importantly do ur research before u get it they are not the best dog to get for ur first dog.....but if u do it right they are very rewarding but u need to raise it good because most are very aggressive but i have a female and i would recommend gettiing a female cause u dont really have to deal with dominance issues
