I'm korean and ate the right foods prepared by mother- all home cooked, but i was still chubby for a asian- 5"2inches 58kg. NOW i do 2 hours of cardio everyday on top of yoga and i've successfully maintained my weight at 43kgs for the past 3 years. No matter how healthy you eat, you STILL need to exercise. DON'T BE LAZY and try to find the short cut!
I see yoga as a replenishing exercise to relieve my joints from cardio AND for my mind (stress), not as the ultimate key to losing weight.
does anybody sweat and get tired doing this? i mean i get tired and some parts are difficult to do but i dont sweat at all and i usually do~ soo idk if im doing the positions right?

Yoga also is for excersise and for weight lost because my teacher teach us yoga and she told us that by doing yoga you help first your soul and of course your health and actually she had muscles and she is pretty skinny. Some of my friends that were overweight they have been better doing yoga and some of them had lost some weight.
@IheartPRETTIboys people do do yoga to lose weight. there are different types of yoga this one is obviously one of the less rigorous ones. if you sweat doing anything, including yoga, then you burn fat. if you're not then you're probably doing it wrong
im doing this yoga for 3 mounts everyday.i have lost 15 kilos! its really working! :)

ppl don't do yoga to lose weight, it's generally for well being and health
cos yoga by itself doesn't work, you need to eat well and do lots of cardio.

it depends. if you do ashtanga (spl) or ki yoga you get a very good cardio workout whilst getting the benifits of soul and wotnot
