  • excellent collaboration, these people are very special. thanks.

  • I love how her voice rises when you least expect it to! I love Bjork. She is and will always be my favorite artist!

  • Bjork is crooning! Fuck yeah!

  • I wish i knew the name of the this song, or if it even has one lol anyone know?

  • @markymark24 This song is called "Sharing Orb" and was released as a collaborative Ep with Bjork and the Dirty Projectors entitled "Mt. Wittenberg Orca. However in the studio version the lyrics are dramatically different and the tempo is slowed by about 1/2. Very good release though, if you have 7 dollars, download it. It goes to a great cause!

  • @voltagenic thanks i love the cd.

  • bjork is amazing! those girls...

  • @aslushy

Bjork is a fan of their music.

Dose that make your musical taste better than hers?

  • @vcshort1 I don't know. I'm not a fan of theirs. I enjoy Bjork. I don't know the extent of Bjorks musical taste other than her recordings which I am a fan of. Including this. I like all Bjorks recordings I've listened to. Yes, I didn't state that very well. I don't know what Bjork listens to. This was suggested to me as something I might enjoy, so I listened to it. I avoid listening to music. People were not intended for a constant deluge of musical infliction. so, yes; I'm choosy.

  • @aslushy ... you obviously aren't a fan of ART in general if you aren't willing to expand it to something that is so obviously in the same vein of Bjork (as in, experimental, quirky. etc) p.s. why does Bjorks listening preferences factor in to what you like or have anything to do with what you are saying? smoke a joint and take another listen to Bitte Orca. ITs goddamn fantastische! choosey people choose the DP's! Its fucking fresh and new and unique like bjork once was (and still is...)

  • @mattmonson7 I agree with u on that.The dp's are awesome and so i bjork

  • @mattmonson7 Please don't say someone is not a fan of Art in general for disliking the DPS. That is a very divisive, pretentious, and intolerant statement; you just declared that any music other than this is not artistic. Not only that, you insisted someone take drugs in order to rearrange their mind into liking stuff like this, so that they may be the same as you. Do you see any similarities to religious fanaticism? I bet you consider yourself to be a tolerant person though. Look again.

  • @zorgitron i was talking to ONE person.and i said they weren't 'IF this and this...' so it was not a COMPLETE generalization.also, i am just trying to get these assholes who think Bjork is all tough to loosen the fuck up and try this out cuz it rules (and sounds like NEW BJORK).Also, you should smoke a joint too and calm down. Also, my statement was intended in order for this person to come back in a different state of mind, just cuz its a different state doesn't mean its fake.

  • @zorgitron ps. i like everything. also, do TWO pretentions added together make something else? our comments will make one giant pretentious robot hurling destructive epithets to all neighsayers... yes? and yes i am fanatical about what i like. and how i came to what i like is by opening my brain up and not discounting things for no reason.ive been defending this recording to Bjork fans since it came out... it sounds like something Bjork would release, i dont see how its so tough to swollow.

  • @mattmonson7 Saying that someone doesn't like your music because their mind isn't opened enough is just plain retarded. I am fully conscious that a lot of music I enjoy is just as retarded as this, at least in someone's opinion, and I would never think they are just too stupid or unartistic to enjoy it. You DP idiots thing you are the end-all-be-all of musical artistry, appreciation, and experimentation and that is wrong. I don't care about Bjork, she seems like a better singer though.

  • @vcshort1 peace.

  • OH HEY, GREATEST VIDEO ON THE INTERNET

  • Sharing Orb's original first verse is amazing, but the new one makes it seem more in line with the story.

  • Björk escucharte es tocar las fibras mas pura de la música,tu voz ,tu ser ,es lo mas exquisito que mis oídos pueden disfrutar...Estupenda colaboración con Dirty Proyect...gracias Björk por este registro memorable...

  • the name is On and Ever Onward

  • so soulful

  • another thing, how can I come off snottily? you can take my attitude or words as you like, and interpret them however you like. I just think that its ridiculous. It's like saying I was shouting at you or something gay like that. ALSO you only have so many characcters to explain you opinion, so wtf man, give me a fucking break

  • ahaha votagenic is a dirty little shit rat!

  • is there anybody who can tell me what the name of this song is ?

  • Bjork's lower range is well... lowering. I love it!

  • This is sick!!!!!..Wow!!!

  • @petrolaatum you crazy silly person. come on. they can OBVIOUSLY sing. Bjork approached THEM to make music so Bjork obviously believes in their singing capabilities... just cuz you dont like it doesn't mean its bad...

  • @mattmonson7 BEFORE you write something that isn't true (because you have no idea what you're talking about) please do you research. Bjork did not ask them to write music for her. They wrote the lyrics and composed the songs for Bjork to sing, as a collaboration for hopefully a future release. If you can't tell or did not know, they were actually recording this performance professionally. (notice the microphone?) Bjork was asked to collaborate, she did never approach them.

  • @voltagenic ummm... ok? im sure i dont see much of a difference or a need to point that out so snottily... ALSO, we agree so WTF is your pretentious fucking deal? EVen if Bjork didn't approach them, the rest of what i say is perfectly reasonable... and YES i did know they were going to release it... what the fuck is your point about that? And since we DO agree, then i obviously DO know what the fuck i am talking about you dirty little shit rat.

  • @mattmonson7 I dont really think that I came off that hard....omfg. I was just pointing outt hat you were wrong. wtf is the point of trying to tear me to shreds over the internet via a comment on youtube? It's not like I did that to syou. Makes no sense to me, I just wanted the opeole who are watching this video for the first time to have the right information.

  • @mattmonson7 bjork didn't approached them, they did.

  • @hectorgmontiel we already established that geniusface...

  • @mattmonson7 do you think I read all the comments ? shh! :)

  • She were bluuuuuuuuue velvet! hahaha i'm lying, it's not velvet! hahahaha

  • Perfect collab.

  • Dirty Projectors are genious

  • bjork is the most amazing!! her voice is out of this world.

  • postmodern 40s vocals

  • good video.

    congratz!

  • bjork is genius

  • thanks for uploading!!!

  • they work well together... i really like the dirty projectors when the guy doesn't freak out too much... but thats just me! :)

  • ive been listening to the dirty projectors two last albums Rise Above, and Bitta Orca and couldnt help but think about bjorks album medula and wondered if they were interelated. This answers it.

  • I know many of her fans are quietly pissed that she hasn't done another "It's Oh So Quiet". Those of that mind would be better off with Spears remixes -- as it takes a more mature, universal perspective to realize the amazingness happening here between these artists. Gorgeous!

  • the haters of this collab are crazy. im not even typically that big a fan of bjork but her voice fits really nicely with the dirty projectors

  • bjork knows what she is singing, the projectors know what they're doing. its stupid to ever think they wouldnt.. this music is class!! its brilliant!!

also, does anyone know our of the back up projector girls.. who the girl is on the left... i think im in love with her!! she has a bit of a joanna newsomy vibe or something, its great

  • thets amber coffman, she sings "stillness is the move"

  • I love both of these artists! I cried when I found out tickets were sold out.

  • Bjork and The Projectors are so on it! You criticizers are amusing !

  • nice to hear bjork go a bit longstrethy with those glissandos

  • Hmm, I love bjork but i really think this is dissapointing, she clearly doesnt know the songs nor does she know the tunes, its like shes just speaking the words in some kind of tune...

  • It's a shame that she didn't know the lyrics, but I don't think she's just singing randomly.

  • She's a busy woman... what do you want from her?

  • to 900dollars per sit she can rehearsal more than once perhaps?

  • I agree, but I think it just sounds like that because it was written poorly. Not her fault. Hate to hear someone else sing it.

  • Hi Sagnew! There was Amy Lee of Evanescence at this concert! Do you have any photos with her?

  • no matter...she is evidently powerful in her voice...wow!

  • i'd love to be the sound mixer and highlight bjork's beautiful vocals and lower the back-up vocals and put the sound of the music sightly to the fore but dialed down just the same...just want to hear Bjork's vocals...what a humble collaborator!

  • I cannot wait to hear this in high quality! so lovely, so velvety, and oh so chocolately!!!!!! PURE FUCKING BLISS!!!! Thank you ever so much
