hey. i never forgot that day. at 9am, my parents were away, i turned CNN on said "oh no" as i saw the beautiful bridge went down. i was feared for my best friend who live there, turned out that they r safe. May Lord bless you.

I am the daughter who tells the story. I am deaf. My mom is the one who was on the phone with dad. She is hearing, but is an interpreter.

Praise the Lord Jesus. I used to go to Deaf International Bible College in the 1970's when Emory was the President of the school and Jo Ann was teaching. Glad to finally get to meet you and thank you Jesus for saving your family. I am sure your husband must have been shocked and very grateful. God is sure good, amen!

Hello Barb, I believe you and I never met, but I used to work at (old) NCBC or DIBC or DEAF College in the 80's.

Thanks for sharing this, I pray and hope others get to the realization of how important to rely on GOD daily.
