  • @sergsrt8 Get a V8 lol, please. A 2.0L four cylinder is equivalent to a 4.0L V8 or a 244 CID V8. How many V8's have you come across in your time that are that size and putting out 460hp? Don't get me wrong, I've got a 1954 Ford pickup with a 289 that I completely rebuild myself, but I've got a lot of respect for how efficient those Honda four cylinders can be. In the power per displacement battle, imports make American muscle look like a turd.

  • @godspeed9601 I could make a 4.0 v8 produce 460whp...the reason why this 2.0 makes 230whp is because it's built. You are comparing a built 2.0 vs a factory stock v8, which by the way are very restrictive. You could get over 100whp just by adding heads and a cam on an ls1 camaro..and its still a 5.7. Imagine what you could get out of it by adding new pistons, rods, crank, valves...etc. The only thing i hate about a 4 cylinder is that the car needs to be light to make it move because of P/W ratio

  • @sergsrt8 Most powerful Natural Aspirated LS1 motor ever made on record is by Mike Kleman. It's bored, has heads, cams, 13:1 compression, etc., and runs race gas. It is producing 538hp at 6,350rpm. This motor is 436 cid.

    The Acura Integra B18B1 non-vtec motor completely stock is producing 142hp. This motor is 1,834cc or 111.91 cid.

    Mike's LS1 - 1.2339hp/1cid

    Honda B18B1 stock - 1.2687hp/1cid

  • P1 Dyno Day video response has this car on the dyno. It's my old 98 Integra Type R. The car was full interior, a/c, p/s, full exhaust, etc. For an all motor 4 cylinder, it held it's own alright.

    The new owner of the car has it as a fully caged track car (road race) with 500whp with a large snail.

  • This is quick. My 1988 Corolla GT-S with short ram intake and full Royal Purple oil in engine and tranny took me almost 2-1/2 minutes to reach 142 mph.

  • @TrowVr01 looks like MPH to me. and right where he hits 140, looks like the 140 mark on my friends integra. there are USDM integra type-r's which are left hand drive and have the eye ball looking headlights, and the RHD Type-R that has rectangular headlights, and thats the one that reads KPH since its japanese domestic market.

  • @scotytohotty bs it doesn't weigh 2200 lbs dude they're made of steel and a bigblock weighs half that alone with the trans, just because you got a pos civic doesn't mean they are peices of shit, i've seen a lot of shitty cars. doesn't make all the makes and models shitty... and 230 hp from a 2.0 is a lot...way way more than your big block makes power per liter. i'd bet money on it. and how is vtec gay? give me a good reason? and D- series vtec is nothing like B series.

  • @MRDC2day Going fast is not always about Horsepower, a big block weighs maybe 600 LBS and a turbo 350 is maybe 120-150LBS.

    Did you know that Chevrolet used Fisher, and almost 80% of the inside of the body was made from Oak wood. My Hotrod weighs about what a Civic Weighs, has 15 inch slicks on both sides of the rear tires, 4 way disk Brakes (11 inch rotors) front and back. Horsepower does not mean fast.

    What makes a car fast, first and foremost is how you put the power to the ground.

  • @MRDC2day So when you take off in a front wheel drive car and the front end comes up from the launch, and you can only put a small tire on a small car, the end result is you cant put your measly 220 horsepower to the ground.

    Now you also realize that your comment about Big Blocks not producing?

    You make no sense, a full built big block on pump gas can push in excess of 1500 HP. And in the case of 502 BB Merlins, similar to what Monster Trucks run on alchohol, they push over 2000 horsepower.

    And the first run on your video, it took 10 seconds to go 20-100mph.

    I see a lot of these street racing videos, and these arent really going to do any good because we dont know if someone jumped the line, or if one of the drivers can even drive, gear ratios etc...

    I used to be a big fan of Pinks (not all out the original) never one time did I see an import take American Muscle.

    A stock (STOCK) factory mustang with a 5.0 (302 Ford) will run in the 14's easy.

    With a few bolt ons, Hondas cannot (NOT) do that.

  • @MRDC2day Hey, my sons YZR 80 is quick, smaller motors can make horsepower if they are built right, however the smaller the motor the smaller the car.

    On the mustang subject were talking about stock 1990's mustangs with old 302 motors. The 4.6 Dual cams are much faster.

    It takes more torq to bolt on wheels than a 4 cyl will produce. Put 4 of your boys in a Civic, and put 4 of your boys in a Mustang 302, then race.

    Search "pinks civic trans am" TA has a 396 BB and bitch slaps the Honda.

  • The only way the Honda would have won that is if he was on the other side of the finish line when he started, Notice the launch on the TA vs the Honda.

    Its much easier to push than to pull, not sure how old you are but one day you will realize this and trade in that Honda for something cool.

Look up Cft's Hondas S2000 Turbo Daily driven 880whp, eats up highly built v8s and and Ams tuning has a street legal full interior evo 8mr PSHING OVER 1000HP and runs 8's all day on the quarter , do sum research then talk dude.

    well i have a civic hatch with a (d16y8 single cam 1.6l) 625whp turbo with crapi vitara pistons that will whoop that mustand in a heartbeat and also i have a civic coupe with b18cr all motor with 225WHP with lsd tranny i will beat that mustand any day and twice on sundays you know why that mustand 412 h/p will go down to like 350whp maybe less and the weight that that chassis has forget about it.
