Imagine what you could get out of it by adding new pistons, rods, crank, valves...etc. The only thing i hate about a 4 cylinder is that the car needs to be light to make it move because of P/W ratio

This is a sick build!! That engine runs like it should when things are built the right way. Sounds great I must say, I can tell it delivers great power and you are skilled on that transmission!

P1 Dyno Day video response has this car on the dyno. It's my old 98 Integra Type R. The car was full interior, a/c, p/s, full exhaust, etc. For an all motor 4 cylinder, it held it's own alright.

Did you know that Chevrolet used Fisher, and almost 80% of the inside of the body was made from Oak wood. My Hotrod weighs about what a Civic Weighs, has 15 inch slicks on both sides of the rear tires, 4 way disk Brakes (11 inch rotors) front and back. Horsepower does not mean fast.
What makes a car fast, first and foremost is how you put the power to the ground.

@MRDC2day Going fast is not always about Horsepower, a big block weighs maybe 600 LBS and a turbo 350 is maybe 120-150LBS.
Did you know that Chevrolet used Fisher, and almost 80% of the inside of the body was made from Oak wood. My Hotrod weighs about what a Civic Weighs, has 15 inch slicks on both sides of the rear tires, 4 way disk Brakes (11 inch rotors) front and back. Horsepower does not mean fast.
What makes a car fast, first and foremost is how you put the power to the ground.

@MRDC2day So when you take off in a front wheel drive car and the front end comes up from the launch, and you can only put a small tire on a small car, the end result is you cant put your measly 220 horsepower to the ground.
Now you also realize that your comment about Big Blocks not producing?
You make no sense, a full built big block on pump gas can push in excess of 1500 HP. And in the case of 502 BB Merlins, similar to what Monster Trucks run on alchohol, they push over 2000 horsepower.

20 seconds to go from 40MPH -140MPH is not fast.
And the first run on your video, it took 10 seconds to go 20-100mph.

I see a lot of these street racing videos, and these arent really going to do any good because we dont know if someone jumped the line, or if one of the drivers can even drive, gear ratios etc...
I used to be a big fan of Pinks (not all out the original) never one time did I see an import take American Muscle.
A stock (STOCK) factory mustang with a 5.0 (302 Ford) will run in the 14's easy.
With a few bolt ons, Hondas cannot (NOT) do that.

@scotytohotty i have never seen a import on pinks...its not that kind of show, and yeah true but when a car pulls on one that hard it really doesnt matter if some one jumped a little, oh yeah? my car pulls 14s easy dude with ONLY bolt ons, a stock gsr does high 14s on the 1/4 and iv seen S2000s do 13s with minor mods. i will eat up a fucking 5.0 ford. and thats sad. 5.0 liters is alot i have a 1.8 liter! thats a tiny motor that makes almost asmuch power as the 5.0. how can you dawg that?

@MRDC2day Hey, my sons YZR 80 is quick, smaller motors can make horsepower if they are built right, however the smaller the motor the smaller the car.
On the mustang subject were talking about stock 1990's mustangs with old 302 motors. The 4.6 Dual cams are much faster.
It takes more torq to bolt on wheels than a 4 cyl will produce. Put 4 of your boys in a Civic, and put 4 of your boys in a Mustang 302, then race.
Search "pinks civic trans am" TA has a 396 BB and bitch slaps the Honda.

Muscles are nice, but overated and not practical. I love being able to smoke mustangs and shit and still get 30mpg when i drive hard.
