@gjjosef , Dan was brilliant and very talented and he loved his Dad and the gift of music that he gave him. My Dad was a musician, had his own orchestra and sang in the 30's and 40's. The gift of music for your children is a gift that teaches compassion, appreciation and love for one another. The likes of which is rarely seen these days as you so aptly mentioned. Dan is missed but we have his music and the way he reached out and touched us through his songs.
One of the finest more meaningful songs this side of glory. In a time when honor and respect is rarely seen or expressed, Dan has left us with this one very precious example.
