Dan Hardy has under rated ju-jitsu, also has great boxing and stand up. He has a tae-kwon-do background too. He's great on stand-up and somewhat on the ground. He could use some improvements with wrestling. Thats only reason Anthony Johnson and GSP won. Man huggers..

there are plenty of other uk fighters to take up the slack if hardy is cut. pearson, hathaway, etc.
hardy doesnt finish many fights though, and many better fighters are cut for less. fabricio werdum the man who submitted fedor was cut after one loss. the ufc fighter with the fastest ko, todd duffee was cut after one loss, efrain escodero the tuf winner was cut after losing only 2 out of 5 fights.

Noone has any idea about how MMA works. Dan is One of the toughest stand up artists in the world for his weight. GW for Carlos to glass jaw him. But fuck all you haters who have no idea what it would be like to win a bout in MMA let alone be 23-8. Also it was his first knockout loss. Thats fucking impressive. Hardy's stand up is risky. To say that Carlos Condit could easily fight GSP is pretty stupid to me. Both Condit and Hardy flipped a coin. A split second later and it could have been Condit on the ground.

If either of them knew how to throw a proper hook with your other hand high to your face to block a counter punch much of the chance would be gone. Striking is a game of chance only to those who aren't technically proficient at it. He should train with Roach more.

Absolutely right. I saw him interact with someone and he was very friendly, I could totally tell that his his real personality.
However, let's get real about something: Hardy is in no way near the top of the division. He was given the title fight against GSP as a publicity stunt to bring more British fans into the UFC. Hardy was not a top 5 fighter and apparently cannot win against one. He never fought against Fitch, Alves, Penn and Koscheck to get that title shot.

there is an unwritten rule that dana cuts fighters after 3 losses in a row. and in fact there are so many fighters in the ufc now that fighters are getting cut after one loss.
there are plenty of other uk fighters to take up the slack if hardy is cut. pearson, hathaway, etc.

hardy doesnt finish many fights though, and many better fighters are cut for less. fabricio werdum the man who submitted fedor was cut after one loss. the ufc fighter with the fastest ko, todd duffee was cut after one loss, efrain escodero the tuf winner was cut after losing only 2 out of 5 fights.
