I Pre-Ordered The iPod touch 4th gen, its release date is september 14-17th 2010 as it says on the shipping. So! expect it to pop up on youtube by the 14th

oh well, my friend told me he modded his so its thinner, modded the keys, moved the sleep button, and added 2 cameras, front and back, then drilled a tiny tiny whole for a mic.

he also jailbroke it so he could have a back ground, and got somthing called game center. i want him to do that to mine

@hamptonpanthers you could download the latest software (iOS4) right now off of Apple's website, but if you wanted a physically different iPod with better features (i.e. *hopefully* a built in camera), you'd have to wait til september and buy it.

you can "jail break" an ipod touch or iphone using a program you install on your computer - by jailbreaking it you can install applications that apple doesnt necessarily approve of. and you can change what the icons on the screen look like - but their is a risk you'll screw up your ipod.

the new touch looks way better! its thinner and is curved, and now has a speaker and a vulume rocker on the side and a big price drop too. and the built in nike + ipod tech. and the screen on the new nano is exactly the same size as the 3rd gen ones - it's just vertical now
