  • aww... Sorry about Tony.... Thanks for sharing the story about Beta testing, sounds like fun. :)

  • @lillemegtralalei He was a good fish, a LOYAL fish!

Thanks, LL, where I test, couldn't be happier.

    xxoo

  • you are quite the little actress... I was worried at the beginning - you seemed so sombre! interesting subject. I never liked being a beta tester for new versions of web browsers or new versions of AOL back in the days of dial up internet. I prefered getting stuff once all the bugs were worked out. So I guess I owe my thanks to people like you! I had a red tailed shark bottom feeder that jumped out of his tank when we were in the process of moving. found him all dried out under his table..

  • @RedroomStudios LOL about the actress comment...yeah, I', a drama queen, but use my powers for good, not evil hahahaha

EEWWW, I had a jumper too. It chose to do so at my office over a weekend...Monday he peeled off the rug like sticky tape.. ;D

Testing was//is// an absolute blast, because where I test, I guess...and as a personal learning tool for me, I struck paydirt and learned loads ;)

  • That's pretty neat that you got chosen for beta testing Stephen King's site.

Should I even bother asking why Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" is a suggested video in the sidebar? :P

  • @14Schofield It is pretty cool and the webmaster and designer are always tinkering so it's a good time ..I've missed a lot in the last year, tho. ;( I

Yeah--Never Gonna Give You Up...very weird and curious.

Sweeter than "Stick a Fork in it. It's Done." , though...

    hahahhaha

  • the start reminds me of a horror story start like the end i was like "oh sweet Loki ghost fish" i got a blood red Siamese fighting fish and due to your story i have made up my mind putt in the extra bowl in to his tank just in case something happens

  • @bjam89 Seriously, that is a good idea.

They jump, too, Beej. you can buy little tanks with an opaque lid to prevent that from happening...

    ;)

  • @TheBlueRose2008 for my birthday or xmas i got money i spent that money on an 21 liter aquarium, with like this light on the top, really nice sand and rock for my tank, a 2 liter bowl (it had a nice blue light) my fish and some game, there is no worried something will jump out as i have this lid thing with lights in it, i do feel a bit sad something is alone but i also know he likes it that way

  • @TheBlueRose2008 i know the pet store owner and he knows e as i have an oversized bird cage he knows my birds can go out of it by asking to fly, or take a bath, he knows my pets when they die they are older then the normal age like years older, we had an hour long talk about the fish before i got it just so i was sure i knew everything, i feed it every other day live worms (and the rest is dry food) i mean he knows i can take care of it and he made sure i knew it too

  • @bjam89 You have birds? what kind? ;)

  • @TheBlueRose2008 Latin name: Melopsittacus undulatus sure i could say the English name but this way no misunderstanding i got both blue and yellow kinds

  • @bjam89 They sound pretty...I used to have Budgies ;)
