I think so. Truman and FDR were better but out of all the presidents who served frome Ike to Obama, Ike in my opinion is the best.

Ike was no Reagan, but he did a fairly good job I would say.  Ike did more for Civil Rights then the two Democrat presidents preceding him, in which they did basically nothing. Ron Paul's foreign policy views are similar to Eisenhower's for the most part. Most fervent anti-Communist President until Reagan. Ike even endorsed Reagan for Governor of California in his first election. He died before his second election though.
