Kinda sad I moved because I wasn't able to sing this with you guys. This is my favorite Whitacre song. Oh, but I'm pretty sure that's my head right at the bottom center hahaha. Anyway, this is late in coming, but y'all did a great job at that concert!
God I miss that day, I cried after this performance. This song singled handily won us state too. Thanks for posting, brings back great memory of bartlett/ whiteds chorale
this is my favorite whitacre song i've been watching a bunch of videos on youtube of choirs singing this song and i have to say that this one did the BEST job out of all of them. normally the choirs would go flat on "by the bluefoot path" but this choir stayed on pitch the whole time without moving. GREAT job!
Nicely done - even though this is a terrible recording. It tells that you worked hard on this. Here are the lyrics: "With a lily in your hand I leave, o my night love! Little widow of my single star I find you. Tamer of dark butterflies! I keep along my way. After a thousand years are gone youll see me, o, my night love! By the blue footpath, tamer of dark stars. Ill make my way. Until the universe can fit inside my heart."
Anything of beauty and style requires effort to be expended. The performance here, even with the limited recording device, evidences what i would call a concerted effort on the part of the choir members to achieve a thing of significant beauty. It was a compliment; the choir should be be proud of its effort. Thanks for posting.

Worked hard on what exactly? Are you saying the chorus worked hard? There's not much work into uploading a video.
