the fs pilot really fucked that up....good thing he only flies flight simulator.
and you idiot youtube aviation experts are all wrong. It was to be built with no reverse at first because TR's actually can rob an engine of thrust just by design. For certification the FAA requested at least 2....so they did. A plane this heave has more trouble getting thrust for take-off over needing help to stop.
I'm sure they can but they are not necessary. Besides, the wingspan of the A380 is so great that having the 2 outward engines sucking air beyond the runway edge might become somewhat dangerous as they can pick up debris.
I thought it was because the plane was so wide that if engines 1 and 4 had thrust reversers, it'd increase the risk of them kicking up and ingesting things like rocks and dirt? You know, since the wings hang out so far over the runway at most airports?
how can u compare the first man on the moon and the a380? 2 different categories, the a380 makes history and so did nasa, neither one did more or less, making history is making history, simple. good video btw.

Real & FS is Visible @ 00:17. Did the runway looked like short to me or U haven't breaked enough?
BigDaddyLicious 4 years ago
The runway is actually 8925ft so it's not short. I just let the plane roll all the way to the end for the heck of it.
Thanks :)

what happen to the engine 4 thrust reverser ?
jakenestor 4 years ago
Only the 2 inner engines are equipped with thrust reversers on the A380. 787maverick is wrong.
gnava 4 years ago
cant they be equipped to the other 2 ?

how many thrust reversers does the a380 have?
jakenestor 4 years ago
all four engines
787maverick 4 years ago
wiked i loved it but i thought the runway was rather short!

The A380 only has 2 (yes 2) reversers. Because of weight problems, airbus had to drop the reversers from the outboard engines to reduce weight.

Only 2 and 3 reversers opened??

"The eagle has landed." The A380 is advanced and sets a benchmark in history, but doesn't even compare to landing on the moon.
