I'm sorry Isabella wasn't John's soulmate. Marlena was. John loved Isabella but a big reason why he was with her was because he couldn't be with Marlena.
It's really sad that she died, but without Isabella's death, there might not have been John and Marlena's affair. If there was it wouldn't have been the same with Isabella being alive.
@ddjmfan People can(and have) had more than one love in their life. I think Isabella was more than a "rebound" but yes I guess when Roman came back from the dead, that pushed John towards Izzy.

Kim had a multiple personality and killed Randy huston, she was having this problem because of the sexual abuse during her childhood.
