I think you guys are mixing up the games, Altaïr (no last name as far as im concerned) and Ezio Auditore da(of) Firenze, are 2 different people, but Desmond is related to both of them, and play both of them.

It's a continuation of AC1 but loads call this PSP game AC2 and even review sites name it as AC2 which is stupid cause it has nothing to do with AC2 and is about Altair, not the new protagonist from AC2. Yet this game is superb!
