I disagree with Hirsi on all mono faiths are non religions of peace! First off Judaism for nearly 3,000 years before the birth of Mohammed was the only faith that sought One God, and Christianity is part of the same olive tree, knowing that the Jews are the natural branch of the faith because without Judaism there is no Christianity! There are good people out there, in every religion. However, whether they are truly following the religion or not is none of my concern. What I do feel concerned about is when people come out and protest against things or do horrific acts in the name of their religion. What I do feel concerned about is when people come out and protest against things or do horrific acts in the name of their religion. I'm tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must let Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries use our oil money to fund mosques and mandrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in Australia, New Zealand, UK, America and Canada, while no one from these countries are allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia or any other Arab country to teach love and tolerance..

Other than the fact that Muslims haven't killed every non-Muslim under their domain, there is very little else that they can point to as proof that theirs is a peaceful, tolerant religion. Where Islam is in dominant (as in the Middle East and Pakistan) religious minorities suffer brutal persecution with little resistance. Where Islam is in the minority (as in Thailand, the Philippines and Europe) there is the constant threat of terror if Muslim demands are not met.

This is the problem. A believing Muslim is a threat, just as any Nazi, KKK, or fascist. They believe that they are the 'best of people' and ALL non-Muslims are 'the worst of people'. As Muslims it is their duty to side with Muslims at all times, not to integrate and to terrorize, convert or kill unbelievers and apostates. Islam is a totalitarian, expansionist political system masquerading as a religion.

@jerrytatum I totally agree with you! The problem is abrahamic religion is the problem! I mean look at those people worshipping the Abarahamic's God: Jews, Christians, Muslims. They're all believe that they're the "Chosen One", "Saved One", "The best one" and they tend to dehumanize whoever doesn't believe their faith. But Islam is the worst one because it only recognize two type of lands: Dar-al Islam (House of Submission aka Muslim countries) and Dar-al Harb ( House of War aka the West)!

But in the Muslim religon there is no promised salvation. They have to die for their religon to enter the gates of heaven. Murray = idiot. Yes, Europe had the Enlightenment. But Islam, in its golden age in the 12th century, had its own enlightenment while Europe was in the dark ages. People of all faiths living in Islamic societies at the time had religious freedom that was unheard of in Europe, and medicine, astronomy and economics flourished while Europe lived in darkness. Every civilization has it's ups and downs -- "Islamic" fundamentalism is a new phenomenon and has nothing to do with the history of Islam.

@PleasureTV My point is that Islam IS a religion of peace. I wasn't attacking them, but I was saying that they are all the same. There is no way the guys in this video can say that some of these monotheistic religions (which have the same roots and basic teachings despite a couple core differences) are peaceful, while others are not. That is just a completely absurd and uneducated assumption.

The way that extremists translate it, which is a very small minority, is that of war and terror. That is wrong.

@PleasureTV Wrong. The "main teachings" of Islam an Christianity are social justice and ending oppression. Both religions came about at a time when there was evil in their societies -- the rich profiting off the poor, people dying of hunger, women being raped, and children being murdered, all in the name of god/gods. For the people who created these religions, strict monotheistic egalitarianism was the only way to end these problems. However, when you take something too far it becomes bad.
