  • I tried the Dunlop Black Widow and it has absolute power, now I wanna try stringing the RPM blast

  • Do you think i should get this or dunlop black widow string. I heard both of these strings are good, but i dont know which one to get. Oh by the way i have a wilson 6.1 team and a blx bold.

  • @watsnot2adore21 rafa uses100% poly, roddick uses the hybrid poly/gut..

  • @itsminim3 Your choice. Can choose both or one of them. Both are great strings. Hope this helped.

  • If someone wants strings better then the rpm blast then get the kirschbaum spiky shark 17g

Spiky shark strings have more spin, yet still good amounts of control. Only dislike would be low power but I don't mind since I can generate my own power and you can always string at a lower tension.

  • I've tried these but I keep going back to luxilon big banger orginal but RPM give great spin potenial and power

  • @watsnot2adore21 Its all good. Kinda jelous that nadal can pull a fresh racket with a fresh set of RPMs in the transitions of sets...I honestly think thats the only way they give top performance; they seem to die quick, so you'd have to have fresh strings to get consistent results...

  • @watsnot2adore21 I thought that was Roddick? From what I've read, Nadal uses full RPM...

  • can someone give me advice on a good tention to string these on a babolat puredrive gt i have been experimenting and i feel after 55 it becomes a little to stiff advice?

  • how do these compare to the luxilon big banger alu rough

    i heard they hit similiarly

  • Finally some French people gosh it been 2 month..

  • What is nadal's gauge?

  • how does rpm compare to cyber flash or spiky shark?

  • darn, rafa's spanish is so quick.... my mind can't keep up in trying to translate what he says even though there are subtitles xD

  • ARFAIAN.MOM HAS LETHAL 8, OCTOGONAL TWISTED STRING FOR MORE SPIN - COSTS 24 EUROS. IT'S 1.27 BUT I'LL PLAY IT WITH POWER ANGLE RACKET WHICH HAS 16 WITH 16 DIAGONALLY STRUNG RACKET SO THE STRING IS STILL THIN AND LEAVES BITTING AREA OPEN. MOREOVER THE RACKET PATENTED STRING FORM GIVES EXTRA SPIN- SCIENTIFICALLY PROVED!!! I PLAY IN TRAINING WITH 1.36 THICK STRING AND USE THIN STRINGS ONLY ON MATCHES!THIS STUFF COULD BE BANNED BECAUSE OF THE DIRTY TENNIS INDUSTRY BUT COULD KEEP FED-LIKE'S ALIVE

  • I've tried this strings in my Pure Drive and they're ok, but I like Pro Hurricane Tour more.

  • someone reply please. i cant decide. witch one is better... Babolat RPM Blast or bigbanger.

  • @itsminim3

    which big banger?

  • I've tried the RPM blast and the Pro Hurricane Tour. I kind of like the PHT a little more than this much hyped string. The PHT has more "pop" than the RPM Blast. Both strings give you good spins. What I like about the RPM is that you can freely take a cut at the ball and it stays in. The RPM is a "control" oriented string. Oddly enough I was able to get tremendous amount of spins using my Wilson BLX Six.One 95 (16X18) strung with Wilson's Hollow Core Pro 17 @56lbs.

  • @wilx218x how would compare the comfort level of both those strings?, im curious about the rpm, some say it´s stiff and other´s say, it´s really soft for a poly..i gave pro hurricane tour a try and it felt like a wooden plank to me..

  • @extradutyfelt1 The RPM Blast is a soft co-poly. Very arm-friendly. Mind you that in my opinion it's a "control" string. Great spin, but it lacks some power. Take a close look at your game. Do you generate your own power? Or, do you need more power? I tried another black co-poly the Dunlop Black Widow. Very arm-friendly, and it has more "pop" than the RPM. Matter of fact some said that it had too much "pop". It cost $13.00 and gives you real good spins. Wilson BLX Pro Open @ 55lbs.

  • @wilx218x i generate my own power, but i wouldn´t mind a little more power, ill consider giving rpm blast a go, thanks a lot for the feedback!

  • @extradutyfelt1 Good luck with the RPM. The Dunlop Black Widow will for sure give you some good power. More than the RPM. Another good string is the Polyfibre Black Venom 1.25mm, and Genesis Black Magic 1.25mm. These are excellent strings at a fraction of the cost of RPM. Keep in mind that for the RPM you are paying for the "hype" and marketing! There is a new string creating some buzz. Brand new company. The Alien Black Diamond.

  • @wilx218x ok, great, thanks again for the tip!

  • @01sean , i agree that its more of the techniques, i have tried the pro hurricane tour, the rpm blast and an ordinary prince synthetic gut, i could produce the same heavy topspin with my strokes! its all about marketing!

  • @nadalemu PHT and RPM are very similar strings. It's not *all* about marketing, there are physics involved. Of course, lower level players will get the same results no matter what they use. At the higher levels, there are a lot of string factors to take into account.

  • I bought the new Aeropro Drive GT a few months ago with this string in it. Oh my gosh, i cant believe i was playing with anything else my whole life.

  • Lol and as soon as they are done training and done with there interview about the strings there is a bag of money and the REAL strings they use sitting beside there bag!

This is all bullshit i can tell you right now NONE of them use it. i even saw a close up picture of nadals racquet at wimby this year, it had in white writing on the strings 'pro hurricanes"

Babolat make it so obviouse, they are such a greedy company

  • i just bought these strings for my sisters new racket a babolat aero strike (i found on clearance for $50!!!) they feel amazing, much better control that my own prince 03 white with premiere LT (16g). using her racket i have not felt any vibrations and the feel at the point of impact is so tactile. With the prince gear ive found that the ball sometimes slides on the strings, catching the ball with the frame on occasion.

  • i have these and they hurt ur arm but great spin

  • he kind of looks like flo-rida

  • @01sean are u a fucking idiot, if its all skill tell babolat to go out of buisness and to screw their new string

  • man! im glad i got this!

  • @01sean you dont have to worry cause im the next fedrer

  • What is the difference between 16 g and 17 g strings?

  • @gwfactions2 its the thickness of the strings. the thinner the string the more you can spin the ball. ....but you will break more strings as well. the 16g is thicker than 17g ....don't ask me why it goes the opposite way. i don't know that much.

  • @MrPURECONTROL why do you say that they make the worst racquets?

  • this string is supposed to cure cancer

  • RPM blast 17 gauge or 16 guage? which gives more power and more durable?

  • Comment removed

  • @nomanno I'm currently using the 17 gauge, I would have to say 17 gauge gives the most power/spin, and feels more solid also. But its a little less durable but it's worth it for the other stuff.

  • Did anybody noticed that 3 French Open finalist were using this string? Also the men's & women's champs(Schiavone/Rafa) both were using this same strings. The RPM Blast. Oh yeah along with the same racquet; the Aero Pro Drive Cortex GT. Well I'm sold. I'll give this strings a try.

  • @01sean Right. Every good junior I see now days is using polly strings with massive top spin. Bernard Tomic is different, but maybe a little too different.

  • @dodododa I play with topspin. but this one school I played against, they all had effing babolat aeropro drives.... can't believe them. but I did play a leftie today, it was interesting... lefty spin threw me off.

  • @01sean I play a lot of tennis, though I'm no expert. I know my shots changed dramatically when I got Big Banger strings. I just wonder if it's all gone too far and now the advantage lies too much with the massive top spinners. We may never see another Federer come through.

  • @01sean Well it might be a little too influencial. Both women finalists at the French were using it. Schiavone has a wicked top spin backhand which is very hard to hit. Shouldn't tennis be about more than who can make the ball bounce in weird ways?

  • @MrPURECONTROL My point is you said "u can't paint the strings lol, it will lose its grip". But they all paint the logo on the strings anway, so it can't be that big a problem to paint the strings.

Of course Babolat only paint the bottom two strings, where you never hit the ball anyway. But Wilson, Prince, Head, Yonex etc. all have their logos painted in the middle of the head.

  • I don't think the string is helping Tsonga much lol

  • @01sean haha i think thats better im gonna string mine about 57

  • this has definatly helped the players outside the top five cause some shocks latley. big hitters are keeping balls in court with the spin on these rackets. its contreversial but true.

  • @wazo89 Yes. And Stoser just made it to the French Open final. She's always been erratic before she got these strings. Perhaps they should be banned.

  • @MrPURECONTROL Every manufacturer paints their logo on the strings.

  • it recomends to string at 62 pounds but i heard that is super stiff. i usually have it on 60pounds with synthetic gut. should i do 61? i am just scared of thr ball flying out or the ball doesnt have any pop.

    someone please respond

  • Andy's stutterin like a beeyotch because he doesn't even use the string XD love you andy!!

  • load of bullcrap from andy roddick he DOESNT use this sring he still uses hurricanes (or something) whith a black paint job!!

only nadal and tsonga use them

  • @WestsTigersFan Roddick's strings in thisvideo aren't even black.

Nadal's and Tsinga's are, but Roddick's are white in this video.

  • @ITubeTooInc yer aye! they make it sooo obviouse

  • They are in stock on tenniswarehouseDOTcom, go buy them! I highly reccomend it!

  • Before getting all caught up on the RPM hype, this string is basically the "black" version of the Pro Hurricane Tour. Both are identical octagonal strings, except that the RPM is a little less powerful.

  • r the e-sense racquets rly good? and, r they still in production?

  • I really don't think there is a big difference between APDC, and the GT model. Why should i pay $189 for the GT? I bought three brand new APDC for $120.00 each. at a well known retailer, and no it wasn't an internet sale, i just walked into the store.

  • were can you get these

  • HEHE , I got a demo of these from tennis warehouse and I am stringing them right now. I am 1 of 10 people in Europe got to demo this.

  • Uhh sweet... You must be proud of yourself haha I think i have to wait so long to get the string, im from venezuela

  • will this string come in a reel

  • the new aeroprodrive GT and the RPM blast strings are on my next wish list, i want them so badly

  • I got this racket and strings. Strings feel almost like they needed to be broken in. First day and a half with them felt real tight and just not good. Now I'm gettin all kinds of spin and pop off them.

  • When are these bad boy gonna be purchasable?

  • @ZachPaceStuff April 10th I think? Something like that.

  • thanks!

  • AWESOME! I can not wait to get my hands on these! Keep doing great things Babolat! No release date yet?

  • @DiscoverYourselfNYC you can preorder now at Tennis warehouse or tennis express and they will have them in stock by may 1.
