your project is really good but you should use aquarium oxygen sponge (its like a small round brick) where air bubble comes out like 1 mm or 0.5 mm

Ideea: Make support for the fish tank from those caps, in their centre a hole for the led and place them beneath fishtank(4 corners) and to make the light vizible glue some acrylic bars that conduct light.like this you reduce the risk, and also efort for sealing the holes in the glass. :)

I use a super glue gel and Have 0 casualties, it doesn't even harm the coral when you put it on it and many other people I know use this glue as well with no problems. The glue that is sold for aquarium use is a super glue gel with an aquarium pic on it, its made of the same stuff.

You have all tropical fish in there, and without a filter that nano tank will get dirty and without a heater that will be cold for the fish. Plus there is no algae for the pleco AT LEAST GET A SMALL PLECO! The tiger barbs are super aggresive and you have like over 10 in a 1 gallon tank. for small fish it should be 1 inch of small fish per gallon. and btw the pleco will get 2 feet long. I would hate to work at my computer and watch fish die.

Some of these guys commenting underneath me are idiots, i have a massive tank, now, what i would like to use is 1 white, 1 green, 2 blue LED'S and then if possible a orange flashing led all spaced about 40cm apart, at the same time i would like to maintain the LED brightness and still have it running off the usb. This is complicated for me since i basically slept through physics in high school. Could you advise on how to do it. Kind regards.

Just because fish can't "speak" or "scream" doesn't mean they can't feel pain. Ever see an injured fish swim around like nothing's wrong? No, they hide and act very stressed. If they can't feel pain, how would they know something is wrong and behave that way when injured?

Im sorry but youve put 2 paroon catfish/iridescent sharks in a 5 gallon tank. They grow to over 3 feet - and even if they are the dwarf version within 12 months they will starting killing their tank mates and will be too big for the tank if they live that long - apologises if ive got my species wrong but they look very much like them. Put a sponge filter in it and some smaller fish and fewer of them. Nice design, but you messed up with the finishing touches.

@pookeythunder Water in nature has bacteria and plants to compensate for the lack of filtration. The ammonia levels in that "fish tank" will make that water acidic and kill all of those fish. Also, this amount of water is comparable to a large puddle. How often do you see 30 fish in a puddle?

This is not a good environment to keep fish in. Bare minum you should use is a 5 gallon tank and a filter of some sort is a must.

Depending on the fish, you will need a heater and airation...
