It was the year the Beatles were inducted, hence this performance of I Saw Her Standing There. Unfortunately, it was also the height of the rift between Paul McCartney and the rest of the Beatles - Ringo and George are there but Paul didn't show up. Paul has since stated he regretted the snub, and it would have been nice to ----

LOVE it...Springsteen + Jagger...full eye contact.... my dad used to laugh at me when i got crazy about the supergroup meetings....how can 15 guitars sound good...indeed , indeed, but it's the pure fun of imagining what would happen if....these beats normally don't encounter in the wild... stones and springsteen , although rock'n roll, are on different spectrums....just an example... and the fun these guys had doing it all live....often unrehearsed...we need that again!!!
