*Takes a brief orbit around the earth to see the beautiful blue before getting chased away by the Time Travel Authority and hiding back in the Nebula so they cannot follow and Dances With The Stars instead.

I first heard this music in the 80s in college. We all listened to 70s and 80s rock at the time, but a friend ran across a station that was playing Fresh Aire uninterupted, knowing listeners were rcording it on cassette. He played it for the rest of us and made big fans. I still have the few albums I could aford, even though I don't have any way to play them today. I ran across the albums going through some boxes with my college student (same school even) and had to look then up...still great
I still think they should make a song where the Manheim Steamroller comes rolling onto the stage. It will look like the image above...............hey that's the steamroller!
This piece is so remarkable as precursor on New Age panorama. The second theme at 2:44 is simply the definition of New Age Beauty: calm, peace, sublime. On 3:57 is almost arriving to transcendental beauty and finally I see nirvana at 4:45, literally it transports to you to magnificent of space, where everything is possible... this is so fascinating!!!
Thanks for posting this great job , Its my favorite piece from fresh air and Manheim Steamroller, I was looking this for many years, remembered on Nationals of ice skating short programme circa 1986
Esta es una pieza que he admirado mucho de Fresh Aire, porque es una pieza que inyecta mucho optimismo y alegría, por ello la considero una de las piezas mas significativas de este genero. Excelente haber incluido. Felicidades.
I grew up with this. I had a recorded cassette version from 1983. Since 1995 when I lost the tape, it has played in my head, thank-you! This album is great for cross country driving.
Enjoy this music very much!

They should make a song called "The Steamroller" that has train sound effects kinda like the Wasbash Canonball only more Manheimish.
At the concert the Manheim Steamroller would roll onto a track from the side during the song making the audience gasp in awe.
