Ok, his release is a bat which is blind...but his eyes "see everything", why didn't kubo explain that. Or give him some cool powers beyond a laser beam. And his attacks don't reflect nihilism...energy lance and healing, some high class nihilism right there.
i agree is was kindof a dum set up, and the only reason he lost ( besides that ichigo is the main carecter) is because he went to his seconds release WAY to fast. everyone knows the get anywere in bleach you need a trumph card, and the way he acted what nihilism...well....not the very end, but still
Haha, indeed, he pretty much went from his ressurection form to segunda etapa in a matter of seconds/pages. But it pisses me off he didn't have ANY real powers that tied to a theme. And barragan said the espada's power relates to their theme of death, not their personality.
I didn't want him to be a good guy, it'd ruin his character. He was loyal to Aizen, he was in some sense the neji (from naruto) of bleach believing "fate" and "destiny (maybe that's more byakuya?), but essentially that you couldn't transcend what you were. I thought the way kubo killed him was horrible though, even fucking nnoitra got a friggin flashback!
But I can see grimjoww living on and returning in the series.
