I was there when this was taped! Was fantastic. I remember feeling all goosebump-y when it started (and still do when I listen to it now) and the incredible roar when the curtain went up on the choir.

I recorded this on VHS when it went to air and cried every time I watched it. I have not had the tape for many years. Watching it tonight it made me cry all over again.

Some friends of mine played the audio of this at their wedding while she was waling down the isle. Cut to me and my best gal pal standing there bawling our eyes out.. Ohhh well we enjoyed it.. lol

I am so glad that you put this up here - I too have it somewhere on VHS and would watch it sometimes and cry. It was aired, I think, on new year's eve about 10 years ago. It always reminds me of my wonderful girlfriend Liz and the times - including new years - that we spent together.

I'm with someone else now and am very happy - but i love being taken back to these times with Liz and how i felt - and feel - about her.

Agreed!! It's not often that a cover version is better than the original, but in this case the DAAS version, the Concert for Holly version and this one are all better than Hunters & Collectors. Sorry H & C!!
