Your tone is great for this style. I've never seen that kind of talman before. I just got some warmoth parts for a similarly green T style guitar with quilt maple and a minihumbucker in the middle.
@ThePurelady26 Yea! you gotta be ambidextrous these days!!! haha no not @ all. I recorded some vids in photo booth and didn't turn the mirror image off.
Thanks but I don't use verb at all. I play wit a dry sound. You're just hearing the acoustics of the room. But that means my computer room/ironing room/practice room is good for recording!!! lol
@twev30theprince well I like dryness, but im starting to realize the tone im looking for especially wit overdrive is wit a lil verb behind it. But no this isn't my PRS. this is an Ibanez Talman. They're beasts!!!
Thats whats up! I have two of them , the semi hollow articore, and the rg4exfm1. I'm trying out different amps for the sound i'm looking for, so far the Fender Deville has the sound. Anyways, you're an awsome player, I hope one day we can fellowship God Bless
Dang T!!!! You straight beasting man!!! I never got the chance to get up w/you man but hopely you still can give me some pointers on getting better on the strings!!!!
dude i rarely comment on people's videos. especially guitar players because im normally watching bass and keys videos because thats what i play. but you are awesome. very few people have mastered the concept of playing this instument like you. Great job.
Wow! This guy is great. Total mastery of the tremelo in jazz! Such a wonderful playing style, nice tone, gorgeous guitar ... I wish he was my next door neighbour!
Yea sorry for the delayed response. The only advice that I have is using your chord tones. The notes within the chord, just use those to generate your melody.
ay man u sound good. U sound like this dude name jariaus mozee. Dats my boy. Me and him go way back. He on youtube. Type his name in and yall sound just alike
yo whats jarius history i heard him hes on point wit it but a couple people i know says hes a book worm whats up on that is he self taught or a book reader i like him
Sorry for being vague. I meant when you learn a scale how do you make it....musical. I've yet to find a musical way to combine the scale with the chords. Example, look at what you are doing that is so beautiful. I am so amped about playing and should be VERY good by now I've been plucking for about 9 years off and on. Unfortunately I haven't had any brothers to groove with to sharpen my playing. Would you consider making a short tutorial possibly?
nice chords- unique- I have been trying to get the whammy sound but I think my hand is too heavy so far but I will keep watchin and try to get the feel right. feel free to check my guitar vids out on my brothers name-type in colby drums and you will see guitar vids. anyway-nice stuff
ibanez talman. Alot of people only know of the acoustic line. But they made electrics for a couple of years. It's a great feeling and sound axe. I love this one the most. I'm looking at getting the SSS also. It still has that thick sound I like!!
U have a really nice sound dude, Ibanez is the way to go, although I believe you have a way better guitar than mine lol ya I'm in the RG series, Floyd Rose all the way =)
Skirts, Just learn all your basic chord formulas. like 135=major 13b5=minor. and so forth and so on. Then learn your neck. Meaning learn where all your 3,5,7,9,11,13etc etc flats andsharps. Then you don't need a chord book, you can just come up with your own.
OMG! Man that was great! How long have you been playing? How did you learn those chords? please give me some hints because books don't seem to work for me.

nice progression, bru. Did your tele come with the whammy or did you have it put in?
revjim24 3 years ago
it came like that, but please don't call my axe a tele. It's not a fender by any means. It's Ibanez all day!! lol
strings81702 3 years ago
My bad, bru. ALl I know is it sounds good. The wahmmy bar seems to give it a "singing" feeel to it.Pretty darn good for messin' around.
