  • Your tone is great for this style. I've never seen that kind of talman before. I just got some warmoth parts for a similarly green T style guitar with quilt maple and a minihumbucker in the middle.

  • Nero my dude! Your a beast!

  • @guitarmagnus alex my dude!!! YOU'RE AN EVEN BIGGER BEAST!!!!!!!

  • nice reverb.

  • Thanks but I don't use verb at all. I play wit a dry sound. You're just hearing the acoustics of the room. But that means my computer room/ironing room/practice room is good for recording!!! lol

  • Yeah Dr. I like love playing with the dry sound as well. Is that a PRS guitar?

  • @twev30theprince well I like dryness, but im starting to realize the tone im looking for especially wit overdrive is wit a lil verb behind it. But no this isn't my PRS. this is an Ibanez Talman. They're beasts!!!

  • Thats whats up! I have two of them , the semi hollow articore, and the rg4exfm1. I'm trying out different amps for the sound i'm looking for, so far the Fender Deville has the sound. Anyways, you're an awsome player, I hope one day we can fellowship God Bless

  • love to see a full demo of this guitar. Running through all the pickup combinations, clean and dirty

have 2 of the 3lipstick version, interested in the different body shape and how those firebird style pickups sound

  • Ok will do. I have this and one with p90's. I need the 3 lipsticks and 2 humbuckers and Ill be sweet. But ill work on that vid for ya. Its a beast

  • we need more of this kind of playing

  • its funny i was looking at buying this guitar. it sounds amazing! and you sound amazing man. what kinda amp you playing out of?

  • Im playin a mesa boogie DC-5 here. Its the head and a 212 cabinet. But my main rig for this axe is a 410 fender deville. they're both beasts!!!!!

  • Dang T!!!! You straight beasting man!!! I never got the chance to get up w/you man but hopely you still can give me some pointers on getting better on the strings!!!!

    STRAIGHT BOMBING!!!!!!

  • dude i rarely comment on people's videos. especially guitar players because im normally watching bass and keys videos because thats what i play. but you are awesome. very few people have mastered the concept of playing this instument like you. Great job.

  • very nice

  • very melodic and skillful...keep on doin u !

  • I heard some spanky alford in there.... sick playing doc

  • But of course. That's one of my biggest influences. But Im tryin to make sure I don't be a complete copycat!! lol

  • i like the chords....thats fire boss...

  • good to much wammy! try a pedal... Awesome

  • Sorry bro. I don't do the pedal thing. The pedals not gonna give me the same natural feelin. But thanks for your input. Ima do me

  • Youlla do you?

  • Hey man that is awsome! Do you have any advise for soloing and playing chords at the same time?

  • Yea sorry for the delayed response. The only advice that I have is using your chord tones. The notes within the chord, just use those to generate your melody.

  • Talman is the best guitar ever made by Ibanez by far...

  • So how did it even take u to even be able to hold a church service down wit dat thing. Cause i jus bought me one and learning right now

  • My dude, that "Welcome to MySpace," song on your myspace page is the TICKET!

  • ay man u sound good. U sound like this dude name jariaus mozee. Dats my boy. Me and him go way back. He on youtube. Type his name in and yall sound just alike

  • C"mon bro, I appreciate the comment but J is killin like crazy!!! That's family. I know who he is. Me n J, no comparison. Nite and day!!

  • yo whats jarius history i heard him hes on point wit it but a couple people i know says hes a book worm whats up on that is he self taught or a book reader i like him

  • Brother can you tell me what scale you are playing? Also, what technique would you recommend using after learning a scale to turn it all into music?

    Thanks in advance

  • I'm not understanding what you're asking!!

  • Sorry for being vague. I meant when you learn a scale how do you make it....musical. I've yet to find a musical way to combine the scale with the chords. Example, look at what you are doing that is so beautiful. I am so amped about playing and should be VERY good by now I've been plucking for about 9 years off and on. Unfortunately I haven't had any brothers to groove with to sharpen my playing. Would you consider making a short tutorial possibly?

    Thanks

    Shalom

  • Great licks

  • Man don't listen ICyrusI that whammy sounds great. He just wish his mommy had brought him guitar with whammy bar.

  • nice progression, bru. Did your tele come with the whammy or did you have it put in?

  • it came like that, but please don't call my axe a tele. It's not a fender by any means. It's Ibanez all day!! lol

  • My bad, bru. ALl I know is it sounds good. The wahmmy bar seems to give it a "singing" feeel to it.Pretty darn good for messin' around.

  • Dude, you shouldn't use your whammy that much

  • Thanks bro but no thanks. I like the way it sounds with stuff like this, but your opinion is cool.

  • Ok i'm just trying to help :P you should also use more hammer ons and pull offs lol

  • what the hell, hes using that all the time man:P. Exellent playing by the way, very much like spanky alford.

  • This is sweet!!!!

    Tim

  • dude that was so cool. is def. buy your cd if u made one

  • ibanez talman. Alot of people only know of the acoustic line. But they made electrics for a couple of years. It's a great feeling and sound axe. I love this one the most. I'm looking at getting the SSS also. It still has that thick sound I like!!

  • U have a really nice sound dude, Ibanez is the way to go, although I believe you have a way better guitar than mine lol ya I'm in the RG series, Floyd Rose all the way =)

  • What kind of guitar is that??

  • hott material.......

  • Skirts, Just learn all your basic chord formulas. like 135=major 13b5=minor. and so forth and so on. Then learn your neck. Meaning learn where all your 3,5,7,9,11,13etc etc flats andsharps. Then you don't need a chord book, you can just come up with your own.

  • OMG! Man that was great! How long have you been playing? How did you learn those chords? please give me some hints because books don't seem to work for me.

  • nice improv!

  • thats wussup...hot stuff nero

  • surprised nobody commented on the video! I saw one time and I'd been trying to find it for some time!
