i hav 1 of these cases and let me tell ya, it ain't all that. brightness is definitely cut in half, so next time people's, dim your ipod to 50% and thats d result u get wit this case.
In daylight, u can't see shit which really sux, and i mean u can't see nottin, maybe a bit of words. At night in complete darkness you may be able to see 60% of total brightness.
Its an elegant piece of design and i like how the screen protector area is part of the case itself but overall, not recommended
the back of the case is rubber like, think of spreading cooking flour over wheel tire rubbers of a car, and thats the feel you get. which is nice and doesn't leave fingerprints.

i got mine at best by for $30 and i looooooove the way it looks, but my headphones scratched it right on the front of the screen, but when the screen light is on you can't tell....so all in all it's really nice
My dad has also bought the Griffin Reflect case, because it's a beautiful case. The back of the case is scratch proof, but the front of the case isn't it.
i have this case and a red aluminum finish one, this definetley makes the ipod look better (mirror one)......i would recommend it to anyone.... the other cases get damaged easily i've noticed

well i had mines for a few weeks now. For one thing, the case scratches very easily! But hey at least it's not your ipod and the scratches can only be seen in very bright light. Also, be sure to clean your ipod before putting it in the case because it is very hard to open up. And i suggest to clean the case once a week with the glasses cleaners. All in all it's a great case.
just got this case yesterday. It's very nice. The chrome finish is just fantastic and the rubberized back part is a nice touch. Will be keeping my nano scratch-free for years to come!
i got one of these cases for my nano yesterday. it makes the nano look a little thicker, but its easier to grip and it protects the screen. not to mention its eye catching.

Its thicker but I kinda like it that way becasue i find my Ipod easier to hold. For me it was worth it because I wanted a case that covered the screen to avoid it getting scratched. They look a transparent and different in the packaging as has been mentioned but when you open it up and peel the film off it looks like it does here.
my cousin thinks everyone has this ipod so thinks its nothing special but when me and my siter first saw we freaked out cause we are old time ipod user and he just got on with that case

well,
you can try.
i did.
and it got stuck.
the thing practucally squeezes the crap out your ipod and is a pain in the but to get off.
you end up breaking the case after a few times of taking it off.
really a peice of crap to tell the truth.

I have the same case for iPod but nano and it scratches a lot. I think its better than scratches on your iPod.
