  • where is the 480p?

  • Was this recorded with a toaster? -_-

  • this goes from 240p to 360p to 720p?

  • @teddzertell123

    Its a 480p hidden as 720p

  • ducks 2160p on a 720p video? are people fucking retarded?

  • Where is 480p ?

  • -.-

  • No, Youtube supports 1440p. It's awesome.

  • it s only 720 p

  • Comment removed

  • I think every monitor/tv you buy nowadays has 1080p support....

  • only 760p d:

  • HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHAH.....

    That Is All.....

  • IMAGINE 2160P PORN!!!!

  • @coolymichael 2160p porn is just 3D lol xD

  • @TehYannick I want 4D, nao!

  • @coolymichael ¬¬

  • Yes Guys, Youtube Does Support It

    /watch?v=WQbcjhnMxQo Change Resolution to "Original"

    Probably will Lag Though

  • @JayLondon7 on your shit pc yeah

  • Whew, good thing I have a 2160p monitor... NOT!

  • im pretty sure if any 2160p cameras are out there they arent giving them to duck watchers

  • it didnt even make it to 1080p dumbass!

  • 720p looser + @elwynhmxj you fail now YT enable original quality ;)

  • Comment removed

  • those ducks piss me off.

  • @FuegoChimenea please rename this video title to 'Ducks 720p' (there's no '2160p' or 'original' in the resolution list)

  • @nitturo i agree rename it 720p

  • imagine how expensive a 2160p tv or monitor will be or is!!!! shit that is like 4 times hd so that is roughly about 4,320 pixels wow

  • @05candyman

    I don't know what r U talking about...

    FullHD has 2,073MPix

    2160p (Quad FullHD - 3840x2160) has 8,294MPix

    4K (4096x2160) has 8,847

    8K (Quad 2160p=16*FullHD - 7680x4320) has 33,177MPix

second is, that u not need 2160p display to get better experience than 1080p - the solution is 3,7MPix display, which is available for 850$ with 2560x1440: Dell UltraSharp U2711

  • STUPID.

  • @truthsofwolf MY ANUS IS BLEEDING

  • FUCKING UNBELIEVEBLE!!!!!! BEST QUALITIY EVAH

  • Was it just me or was this video not even1080 HD quality

  • BEUTIFUL

  • JESUS

  • eventually tv pixels will reach the limit of what the human eye can perceive, i read a study that in most cases it was 2000-3000p but in some rare cases even 4000p. hopefully theyll get to that level soon so we dont have to keep upgrading tvs every 3 years

  • @patrickbatemon What really matters is pixel density. You can have 3000p on a 400 inch TV and it'll still look like shit.

  • @Black7Cloud true, but standard home tvs will never realistically be that size

  • Wikipedia says 2160p will become the norm in 2016 so i cant wait for 2016. This new decade we are living in is a golden age i mean look at all the technologies coming to life its like living in a dream!!!! 2160p already i thought theyd get that in 2020 although 1080p is amazing doubling that is gonna be the best eva!!!!

  • @nickbear3 the point is that in a 40inch tv or less there will be hardly any difference

  • @TheCobraagent by the time 2160p becomes the norm 50 inch tvs will probably be relatively cheap to buy. Depends on what type of TV though for example an LCD then will be pretty cheap to buy but if theres a new technology that will probably be more expensive but then with the new type of TV wed definitely notice the difference so its a win-win either way

  • @nickbear3 Everyone has at least a 720p LCD. Do you consumers are willing to buy a new one? I am not

  • tiny bit pixelated

  • Youtube doesnt support 2160p, and won't for quite some time.

  • there won't be 2160p monitors for a long time

  • so far you can get 2560x1600 on 30" PC monitors. Thats the only way. And thats ll you would need in quality.

TV's will be going to 2160p eventually, but its a way off. Blu-ray seem to think they can improve the standard to hold it, this means they have to start using new compression techniques. The compression they use now is rubbish. HD-DVD's compression format was better, it took up the same percentage onthe disc as blu-ray. bt if hd-dvd won, i dnt think itd have enuff space for 2160p tho

  • 2560 x 1600 = 1600p..... same way 1920 x 1080 at 60hz is 1080p the same resolution at 30hz is 1080i.... so basically 2160p doesnt exsist yet in mainstream monitors... although i have seen one where it was like 3000 by like 2600 or something but that required 4 DVI inputs from two graphics cards...

  • They usually come out with better formats after the fact.

You can put 200 MP3s on a CD

You can put 1 DVD quality AVI on a CD

You can put 1 Blu-Ray quality MKV on a DVD

Hell you can put a "Blu-Ray" on a VHS tape, for data, VHS tapes can store 50GB, look at Dtheater movies!!!

So you should be able to put a 2160p MKV on a Blu-Ray or HD-DVD. A 1080p MKV is about 4GB, so a 2160p MKV should be 16GB or so.

  • Haha ur smart xD

  • @alterbr33d , the movie avatar took 1 PETABYTE of space lol, imagine that in 2160p it would be like 4 petabytes

  • @LaZyTaNkOwnsYou

    Petabyte?

is that like 1000 Exebytes which is 1000 Terabytes which is 1000 Gigabytes

so a Petabyte is like one million Terabytes, which is 200x the memory in the pentagon...

    yeah sure

  • @izzythecubemaster before you comment saying yeah sure maybe you should do research you asshole a petabyte is 1000 terbytes dumbass

  • @LaZyTaNkOwnsYou didn't mean to offend you or anything, i had just recently seen the movie "oceans 13" and he has an exabyte server, and the guy said that it was 1000 terabytes so... blame the writers of oceans 13 not me...

  • @LaZyTaNkOwnsYou wrong, avatar takes 1 petabyte of space in lets say raw form, meaning 3D polygons, textures, animations, physics, 24bit studio quality soundtrack etc. But when rendered to fit on a 1080p bd, it's 25GB, actually 100GB in 2160p. compare it with 3D games: a 3D game has the information for how to render it, independent of the resolution in which your computer will render it.

  • 2160p Televisions are coming out next year... 2010. They can easily be used as Monitors.

  • 3d screens are also coming this year though, and they are prolly alot cooler than high definition 2010 xD

  • there is already 3D HDTV's available, they cost a real lot though

  • @GamingPalooza $6000 lol, that more than my house lmaooo jk

  • ther already are

  • oled = infinite resoluution

  • @TheXFactorWeekly maybe 5, 6 years?

  • @TheXFactorWeekly there is one now so 4 months isnt that long :D

  • @TheXFactorWeekly There have been a few quad HD (2160p) monitors out there for a while already.

  • @TheXFactorWeekly your wrong. there already here. samsung has an 82" 2160p tv out right now.

  • @TheXFactorWeekly hmm? my monitor is

  • @Keskusrikospoliisi mikä sattuma et näin sun kommentin täällä. itseasias oon nähny sun kommenttei varmaa kymmenis videois, jotka on ollu iha randomeit. hmm.

  • @TheXFactorWeekly a japanese manufacturer shown one about 2 years ago

  • @TheXFactorWeekly there are 1440p monitors already.

  • @TheXFactorWeekly i bet in the year 2160, 2160p would be antiquated but still used.

  • @TheXFactorWeekly

and how does your sentence stand now? how close are we? and when can we expect games in 2160p resolution?

  • @RemovdSande11 Tomorrow lunchtime.

  • @eventfularse

    you ......TROLL!!!!!..!! ;)

  • @TheXFactorWeekly There already are

  • @TheXFactorWeekly They're already out.. And they were out even as you wrote that comment. But 2008? ..Doubt it.

  • @DeathDude72 actually 2160p and 1440p were first shown at an electronics show in japan but i dont know when they were rleased

  • Comment removed

  • @elwynhmxj 720p actually

  • @elwynhmxj engadget showed a video on Youtube in 4k resolution

  • @ExhaustedFX you know... my commentary is very very old

1080p was launched in YT not long ago...

  • @elwynhmxj

ouch, sry havent seen your comment was 8 months old, ye, my fault.

but i wasnt talking about 1080p, try to watch "nyc surf" and press orginal :D

  • @elwynhmxj i uploaded a 2160 video without any problem - it appears as 'original' from the resolution list

  • @elwynhmxj Now youtube supports even 2160p, you can try it out

  • @elwynhmxj youtube supports more than 2000p.

  • @elwynhmxj Youtube supports now video res up to 4K

  • @elwynhmxj

    for now

  • @elwynhmxj watch?v=WQbcjhnMxQo

  • @elwynhmxj not anymore :D

  • @elwynhmxj actually they can. Some 2160p are under the title Original on the HD bar.

  • @elwynhmxj yea and my computer only supports 720p only!!!

  • @elwynhmxj no youtube suports the format "Original" and thats higher than 1080p ;)

  • @elwynhmxj youporn supports 1440p

  • @elwynhmxj There is actually a 2160p mode hidden. A VERY small amount of videos have an "Original" feature directly above the "1080p HD" feature, I am pretty sure it is 2160p.

  • @lNickNackl

The "Original" feature could be any resolution, as long as it's above 1080p. It could be 1920x1200, 1440p, 2160p, 4K, or anything between those.

I wonder how soon it will be until YouTube supports 4320p (the highest monitor resolution at the moment)

  • @lNickNackl it's any amount greater than 1080p

  • @lNickNackl

Dude you retard the "Original" feature is 1440p and not 2160p. After 1080p it comes 1440.

  • there are actually some in japan

  • You are retarded. In fact, my computer brand ASUS is already in the making and has already come out with prototype for a 2160p monitor on their laptops. So I think 2011 or 2010 would be a more appropriate date ;)

  • this video res is actually 3840x2160 @ approx 243mbps of bitrate :D

    29,970 fps

the original name is Ducks Take Off

    enjoy:)

  • not only that youtube can only support 720p, your monitors wont be able to produce 2160p no way in hell. Only some monitors can do 1080p. I wana see a monitor that can do 2160p

  • the weird thing is is dont look like a 2160p video its looks like 720p or lower

  • you should put this up on vimeo, maybe they can support 2160p or at least better than youtube

this is just filmed w/ a 4k cam if im not mistaken, somebody correct me if im wrong

  • it is now because samsung made a 82 inch 2160p hdtv also known as "ultra high definition" tv

  • I'm sure this looks awesome on your video camera but YouTube only supports 720p FAIL

  • PCs can do better than 1080P...1080P is simply 1920 x 1080 and the P-rogressive is how LCDs or Plasma display images. So 4096 x 2160 is your 2160P.

  • poor on my 23" samsung 2333hd

  • Wooooww.... It's almost as good as looking out the window!!

  • That looks like 480 to me. Use Vimeo if ur gonna try HD. Or just embed it somewhere. please.

  • youtube can only support 720p

  • But not my YouTube Quicktime plugin... :D

  • i want

  • Type in QTYouTube in Google, you should see an embed code I guess...

  • QTYoutube- Epic Win.

  • No, that is reccomended, if u look at file size yah ur right (1 gb is not enough now days)

  • not anymore

  • i dont know how many pixels this is but it doesnt seem like its more than 1080p. if its really 2160 then i'll be disappointed cos this particular vid doesnt lo.ok better than 720p.. but then again if youtube doesnt support more than 720 i'll be disappointed too

  • Comment removed

  • its not 2160p, you screen cannot show more than 1080p i think

  • It would be 2160 on his video camera but YouTube only supports 720p
