@mattydrumland no, the track before this one is Hush Yael. If this song is in connection with that song, it would make a lot more sense—the last lines of Hush Yael are "end him slow" repeated over and over. So then maybe this song is asking for forgiveness instead. Or, perhaps maybe this song isn't connected with Hush Yael and it is somehow connected with the rest of the story, i don't know for sure.

@mattydrumland This song applies to all of the other songs where the father seeks "righteous vengeance" against sinners, I interpret the first few lines as God is telling him to stop killing in his name because it isn't going to solve anything.

I love this song soooooo much! I show my sister this song, and she fell in love with it immediately. She told me that this song inspired her to start writing a story. She used to write her own stories all the time, but haven't done it in forever. This band is truly inspiring for us in many ways. Their lyrics are powerful, and pull you in instantly.
