i sincerely believe that the idea of 1Malaysia will not be realized as long as our education system is divided along the ethnic lines. children should be united under one schooling system, not segregated. if we have only one type of national school (Sek. Keb.) perhaps the compulsory study of Mandarin and Tamil language can be introduced to non-Malay students. at least assimilation could be achieved easily without neglecting their own mother culture. i think this is the best way towards unity.
